Bobbi Brown + Tibi Peony & Python Collection Neiman Marcus Exclusive Review, Swatches, Photos

Bobbi, Bobbi, Bobbi! I love you for recreating bronzer and making it into something other than a dull, lackluster muddy shade and instead creating something with a pop of gorgeous color!

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer is one of my very favorite bronzers around the town and I’ve reviewed them in the past (please see my past review here and here) but the new Bobbi Brown Peony & Python Collection Neiman Marcus Exclusive comes with a popping shade of Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzer that you simply must have!

Bobbi Brown Peony & Python Collection is a set available exclusively at Neiman Marcus which celebrates the release of the Peony & Python Collection which is a collaborated collection between Bobbi Brown + Tibi!

This collection was inspired by peonies and the casual chic world of renowned fashion label Tibi. The collection marks the first Spring release from Bobbi Brown this year and is a perfect and most fitting release for the warmer weather ahead!

The collection is exclusive to Neiman Marcus and includes a gorgeous peony inspired makeup bag, full size Bobbi Brown cosmetics, plus a mini face blender brush and ultra fine eyeliner brush.

The set contains:

Personally, for me, the star of the collection is the gorgeous shade of Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzer. The photos I took don’t do the shade justice as it’s a bright, popping shade of pink peony which comes across a bit purple but applies all pink. The shade has a certain warmth to it but also has a cool, subtly shimmering finish that makes my face glow. The shade is an absolute essential for Spring and I’m hopeful Bobbi might consider releasing it outside the set someday soon (at the moment the shade is exclusive to this set).

Other items in the set are mere gifts as for me the real stunner was the bronzer but the case is also a treat and features an interesting python, peony design. Kinda an unusual design but the purple and gray manage to work with the the different textures they are going for here. It’s a roomy bag with plenty of room for essentials and two separate compartments plus a single pocket for tucking smaller brushes into.

The set also includes mini brushes. I personally love Bobbi’s mini brushes as they forsake nothing in quality due to their smaller size plus they travel super easily.

The other two makeup items you’ll receive are Black Mauve Shimmer Long Wear Gel Eyeliner (see my review for Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner). The shade is an off darker mauve with a hint of shimmer. In my photo below I wore it on my waterline to add a certain depth to my eyes. You’ll also get Pink Lilac Brightening Lip Gloss which is a iridescent shade of pinkish (heavy on the pink) lilac. The shade comes across as an iridescent lighter shade of opaque pink. I actually skipped the gloss and paired up the look with a darker lippie to add a little mystery rather than the fresher, lighter feel that Pink Lilac would lend the completed look.

The price tag might frighten you at $95 but you’re getting all full size items here plus additional extras such as the bag and makeup brushes!

Anyone who loves Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer (own a few shades and love ’em? You’ll absolutely HAVE to own Pink Peony it’s gorgeous!).
Those wanting a fresh, healthy look for Spring sans the drama of application (brush on some bronzer, slick lips with the gloss, and line your eyes for a fresh, pretty look for Spring!).

Those uninterested in higher end cosmetics and the price tag that comes with them ($95 may prove a little high for those on a beauty budget).

I personally loved this and thought the highlight was the Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzer which I can’t rave enough! The shade is just so special and pretty for the Spring (hurry Spring, get here fast!). The other items in the set are the icing along with the cake! All the items are full sized so purchased separately you’re looking at $76, why not indulge in the extra amount and get the gorgeous bag and brushes too?
