Etude House Miss Tangerine LUCIdarling Fantastic Rouge Review, Swatches, Photos
More Etude House Miss Tangerine coming your way today! Hope you’re enjoying the coverage of this beauty abroad collection! Today I was messing around with the Etude House Miss Tangerine LUCIdarling Fantastic Rouge. LUCIdarling Fantastic Rouge is not a new product but the packaging has been revamped and two new shades have been released themed around the Miss Tangerine Collection.
The main shade, as you may have guessed, is a tangerine orange and the other a mod-ish pink. They are paired up with the looks that you can create with the new eyeshadow quads from the collection.
Let’s have a little peek!
A moisturizing lipstick from Korean brand, Etude House!
Depending on how you see it, you’ll either be delighted with the packaging or deem them a bit on the childish side. Packaging for me is darling as they come housed in a plastic peachy tube that has a lightweight feel however I can understand those with more sophisticated tastes in makeup might see them as being a bit immature and dare I say toy-like. They kinda remind me of a tube of lipstick that you’d get with a makeup kit for a little girl but I like ’em regardless!
Don’t quote me but one of the shades, Fresh Pink, might have already been released prior and just repackaged. I ordered both because I was kinda suckered into the promo images but I can’t actually wear Fresh Pink sadly as it’s a bit too mod for me. Sad sigh. But I’m going to try to add some tinted lipglass and hope for the best!
The other shade Coral Tangerine is also equally unwearable for me. I was hopeful this would be a softer shade of orange however it’s full on pigmented tangerine. It’s pretty neon-like and crazy for me. Some folks can rock the orange trend but I happen to be not one sadly that’s why I was kinda hopeful that this shade would be softer, but no luck. It’s definitely a hardcore orange!
Aside from the colors I already own a few of the LUCIdarling Fantastic Rouges and I love them. The formula is glides on like butter and has a super hydrating feel with a glossy finish. Color pay off is shiny, creamy finish that hugs lips and keeps them moisturized as it wears. The wear time varies from shade to shade for me but can’t yet speak for the wear on these two colors from the collection.
Great formula, great packaging, but sadly the two shades released with the Miss Tangerine Collection are a tad difficult for me to pull off and I feel like most people will find them unwearable.
Sadly, Etude House is sold within Korea and a few other select Asian countries so a little online searching and shopping is required!
- Anyone who loves mod pinks!
- Anyone wanting to embrace the orange trend (this is a beautiful shade of tangerine).
- Those who love cute makeup items!
- Those who can’t quite pull off mod, pure pink shades.
- Anyone who can’t wear neon shades of orange!
- Those who aren’t interested in tracking down product online and dealing with airmail (these are sold exclusively in Korea).
Although I really wanted to love these, the shades simply won’t work for me. I’m going to try to tame them with some lipglass and see what “new” shade I can create. Great formula, fab packaging, but the colors just aren’t doing the trick here!
Anyone hauling them?
Hauled them already?
Can you pull off orange?
