Hourglass Cosmetics Aura Cheek Stain and Aura Lip Stain for Spring 2011

I’m yearning for the new Hourglass Cosmetics Cheek Stain and Auro Lip Stain. I have such a love affair with cheek and lip stains and these look quite killer.

Let’s have a look!

Hourglass created their stain with a water based formula that gives cheeks a transparent flush of color that’s never over done and merely illuminates, highlights, and flatters your complexion.

Hourlgass Cosmetics Aura Cheek Stain $45
A water based formula with extreme staying power that comes housed in a twist-click dispenser and a sponge applicator for easy application!

Available in shades:

  • Rouge (sheer rose)
  • Flush (sheer red)
  • Petal (sheer pink/coral shimmer)

Hourglass Cosmetics Aura Lip Stain $26
A water based, non transfer formula with buildable coverage a semi-matte finish thatcan be applied with the click twist pen and flock tip applicator

Available in shades:

  • Scarlet (sheer plum)
  • Flush (sheer red)
  • Petal (sheer pink/coral shimmer)

I absolutely adore the looks of both but I’m wincing slightly at the price tag but hey, the formula might outweigh the price eh?

As a general rule I’m afraid of cheek stain, and at $45 it’s cringe inducing anyway. But the lip stain (only $26!) in Petal I want!

I tried this yesterday in Sephora. I tried Petal which is actually peachy pink. It looks like an exact dupe for Orgasm. The color was to die for! I wanted it so bad but sadly had to pass it up. I loved the color so much I was ready to shell out the bucks and to heck with the price. It was just too shimmery for me. Noticeable shimmer. Muse, it had you written all over it with your love of shimmer 🙂
