The Body Shop Dreams Unlimited Review

Recently The Body Shop introduced its new Dreams Unlimited fragrance. It’s uplifting floral scent inspired by The Body Shop’s late found, Dame Anita Roddick.

I’m always a fond fav of anything The Body Shops creates so I was curious when I got a bottle of Dreams Unlimited to try out.

Let’s have a look!

Anyone sniff it yet? What do you think?

My impression is it’s pure delicate floral sans any sweet or fruity notes. It was hard to pick any one note out of the mix but you get a very strong edge of orange blossom and blackcurrant but this is brought down to the realms of a full floral thanks to a crispy green chili pepper flower. Background notes of cedarwood and iris make their way into the mix as well and my nose catches faint whispers of the iris which convert well when combined with the pepper flower, it creates a more mellow floral mix that’s very pleasant to my nose.

I really love the bottle. It’s a slick, curved bottle that looks quite lovely on my vanity.

I got the body butter as well but I don’t find it’s absolutely necessary to layer with it as the scent itself has a very nice throw. But regardless, The Body Shop Body Butter is always a luxurious experience as it’s such a rich cream and oh so hydrating. My skin likey!

I’m not much for full florals but this is delicate enough to wear during the day and creates a soft ambiance of fragrance that lasts quite well and has a decent throw.

If you enjoy soft, delicate florals Dreams Unlimited is the scent for you.

I used to love thebodyshop products in my teenage years, now I find that the quality and innovation of the products have gone down… I tried their shower gels, found them drying, and their body scru are way too oily ! Some good body scrubs and cream gels are from soap and glory, thanks to the muse review, I tried them and love them now! Do you know the muse that your blog makes me buy too much beauty products! : )

aw sorry to hear it nunu! :/ no one likes a drying experience. I still love the Body Shop to be honest particularly the LE makeup items as I find some true gems in some of the items they release ;-D i like Soap and Glory too, kinda obsessed with it ;-D haha! I love hearing that :D!

I believe my nostrils flared when I saw “orange blossom” … I am rabid for floral scents and orange blossoms kill me with their loveliness! Lush Orange Blossom is one of my olfactory loves 🙂

I really love this fragrance. It’s my “look at me, world, I’m happy!” scent. If that makes any sense.

ooo… new scent! I love The Body Shop… They sell affordable and nice smelling perfumes… hahaha… All the other branded perfumes cost at least RM150 and above (which is a lot for moi)… wonder whether it reached Malaysia yet…

I got a vial of this perfume for free about a week ago since I bought quite a lot of stuff. It actually smells nice. Not too girly, floral but not nauseating. I think they already have the full size product.
