Tokidoki Bellina Blush Review, Swatches, Photos
Dude, totally snatched up the Tokidoki Bellina Blush last week! I simply couldn’t resist. I really loved the print of the Siberia Compact but the colors are kinda a blah mix of bronze and pink, no likey at all so I grabbed up Skate Girl which is a matte and shimmering shade of warm peach, loves!
I was quite excited for this release since outside of the recent Robbery Palette they don’t have any blushes. Wah! But wicked news with this release as we get two shades of fabulous blush, can we have more though?
I’d indulge!
Jump!
A micronized powder blush with two shades of blush in two different finishes!
This comes housed in a clear compact featuring a Soda Shop style (Think Sonic! Yay Cherry Limeade with double shots of lime) waitress on skates serving a hamburger. Yes, the compact is darling. Immature? Maybe but I never claimed I was mature.
Inside you’ll find two shades of blush. One has a shimmer finish and the other matte, both sport a silky, fine milled formula with quite a good deal of pigmentation for a nice pop and glow of color on cheeks and face. I personally swipe across both shades and apply but you can apply from either side for different effects and finishes. When using both combined I get a subtly kissed shimmery peach glow on my cheeks. The shimmer isn’t over done here in my opinion and is barely noticeable. The color is a golden shade of peach that really makes my face glow.
I was trying to think if I have any dupes in my collection of the shade but I honestly don’t think so. It’s a bit Orgasm-like however it lacks the pink and comes across more golden peach. It’s lighter than many of my other shades of peach which makes it a bit special and unique.
No bad here. Formula blends well, applies smooth, wears well and long, plus the packaging is wicked cute. What’s not to like?
Although I will say more variety would be awesome as only two shades to choose from kinda stinks!
- Tokidoki fans!
- Lovers of peachy shades of blush!
- Kawaii packaging lovers!
- Anyone looking for a delicate, golden shade of peach!
- Those who like more mature makeup.
Part of the appeal is obviously the cute packaging but it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea particularly if you’re a lover of more mature, sophisticated makeup items. Personally, I adore it! Too cute! The shade felt unique enough to me to haul it plus I feel like I’ll use the shade daily in many looks I do for Summer since the shade just screams wonderful for the warmer weather. The formula is fabulous so you aren’t forsaking anything at all for the sweet packaging.
Overall, liked it lots and def feel it’s worth the haul!
Muse Approved for purchase!
Now I just wish the other shade was as pretty….damn….maybe a bit more variety Tokidoki! I’d buy more of these!
