Will Lancome Renergie Eye Multiple Action Ultimate Eye Care Duo Be the One Eye Cream to Rule Them All?

Lancome premiered its brand new Renergie Eye Multiple Action Ultimate Eye Care Duo on HSN yesterday with a big bang, lots of hooray, and mind blowing promises!

Could it possibly be the one eye cream to rule them all!?

To hear the HSN host talk about Lancome Renergie Eye Multiple Action Ultimate Eye Care Duo it sounded like it was going to create world peace and cure some major disease. Seriously, this was some “I are being serious now” kinda launch.

Lancome totes it as a formula that treats not 1, not 2, not 3 or 4, not even five, but SIX, yes SIX visible signs of aging. Holy cow it might just cure world peace for sure and attack fine lines!

What’s it do?

  • Helps eyelids feel firmer, as if uplifted
  • Helps fine lines and crow’s feet wrinkles appear reduced
  • Helps the eye contour feel firmer
  • Helps undereye bags look reduced
  • Helps conceal dark circles
  • Helps the eye contour look illuminated
  • Walks the dog!
  • Does the laundry!
  • Feeds the kids!

I might have added those less three options or I might have not.

One eye cream to fight fine lines, puff, dark circles, and more?! Whoa. Personally I have a few issues I want to address under my eyes one of which is puffiness, secondly fine lines, and thirdly a bit of darkness. If I can address all three with one eye cream, well hells yeah I’ll give it a try!

Step 1 is the eye cream and Step 2 is a Veil (or subtle concealer if you will) this contains SPF 15 plus light reflecting pigments. To use you’ll be applying the cream as your AM and PM treatment under your eyes and above the eyelid and eyebrow if you have sagging.

You follow up with the veil in the AM after applying your eye cream. This acts as a concealer of sorts but I have a funny feeling I’ll need more than this to conceal my under eye woe but we’ll see.

Overall, Lancome Renergie Eye Multiple Action Ultimate Eye Care Duo makes some seriously HUGE claims which I’m not sure they’ll be able to keep. Eye cream that multitasks so many issues sounds like a dream so I definitely need to check it out for myself to see if it actually lives up to all the hype surrounding it.

I just ordered one as it is Free Shipping on HSN plus you can try it for merely $25 for 30 days and simply return if it fails to work for you, can’t beat that right (if you keep it two more payments of $25 each will be billed over the next two months for the remaining balance and taxes)?

What do you think of Lancome Renergie Eye Multiple Action Ultimate Eye Care Duo?

Might it be the one eye cream to rule them all?

I’ll be finding out for myself shortly!

Share your thoughts on Lancome’s new eye cream or any of their eye creams!

You make me laugh. I loved the LOTR reference. I can not wait to read the review on this one!!

    • the Muse

hehe mary ;-D I’m quite interested in this, curious if it’ll work. waiting for them to ship! 😀

  • jenna

eeek so about 75 total? I think my limit on eye cream has to cap off at 50! i’ll be looking forward to your review though – i could possibly be convinced to spend the extra if it does indeed do the laundry and walk the dog! 🙂

    • the Muse

sadly I’ve been know to spend over $100 but it’s rare Jenna. I think if it works it could prove priceless to me but if I do spend it and it sucks well man am I mad ;-D ha yes that accounts for the extra $$ I wish it would also clean the house!

  • Nunuiviet

As for me I’m waiting for your review muse, I need a eye cream for this damned fine line! Let us know soon , very excited!

      • Nunuiviet

Yes kind of psycho about it hahahha, I need to erase it hahaaha, but will it ever be possible? Where’s the miracle product? 🙂

  • Phyrra

Wow, I’m too cheap to spend $75 on an eye cream. Heck, I just recently talked myself into trying one as a last ditch effort when I was having super dry/cranky under eye stuff going on. I have to say, the one I’m using is working really well for me (Yes to Blueberries), but wow, the claims in the Lancome is crazy!

  • Littlecreek

The addition of the concealer makes me a sad panda. 🙁 That basically tells me that the cream does nothing for dark circles so they put the concealer with it to “say” it helps dark circles. If you can’t tell darkness is my eye issue and I have yet to find anything that actually fixes the problem. Most products just cover it up. Anyone ever try a product that actually corrects the darkness issue?

    • the Muse

never found a product that helped me darkness littlecreek just concealer for me ;-/

    • Christina

the natural remedies I have heard of are black and green tea bags on the area with dark circles, cucumber slices (this works well on my skin in general), and what I heard of for under the eye darkness is a cream with low doses of urea from the pharmacy. Aside the cubumers I have not tried any of these but I also only get darkness from too little sleep before Midnight (also some thing to try – the sleep before midnight regenerates the skin provenly better than any amount of sleep afterwards).

    • Vanessa

I work for Lancome and I just thought I’d let you and your readers know that the veil is not actually a concealer. It is almost translucent. Just enhances natural light around the eye for a brighter more rested look. NOT a concealer though! 🙂

  • Fabiola

I usually keep it simple and use my day cream with SPF 15 on my under eye erea. Six signs of aging seem like quite a lot; it almost makes me a bit anxious of approaching my mid-twenties (I think Olay even claims there are seven signs of aging).

By the way, is it just me or does the participant’s eyebrow seem ligher in the “after” picture and her eyelashes seem less pronounced too. I certainly wouldn’t want my eye cream to do that, lol, but I guess make up must’ve been applied in the ”before” picture.

    • the Muse

makes me wary to try fabiola as I fear it’ll make my eyes hooded b/c it’s too rich! :-/ I imagine it is the lightening or something that make it appear so!?

  • Cj

I’ve been hearing a lot about eye creams lately! I was hearing about this new one from Estee Lauder the other day and was thinking about ordering it… Until I realized it was $100! Now I’m not a cheapo or anything but I think I’ll wait till I’m older and actually need one of these to spend that much for one lol. Are eye creams really worth that much?

  • katrosado5

    -Walks the dog!
    -Does the laundry!
    -Feeds the kids

LOL that cracked me up 😀

I’ve used their renergie line. Meh. For that price I really need for them to “show me the money”. KWIM? Yes I’d pay a hundred dollars of an eye cream if it did all that you listed I’d even forego the doing of the laundry. The very sad fact is that you can stall the signs of aging and you can lessen the severity but we all will get signs of aging after a certain point no matter how diligent we are or how much we spend. It’s just what is 🙂

  • Marina

Ahhh, Lord of the Rings geekery. I don’t use eye creams, but I am quite interested to see if it does work.

  • Marina

By the way, a tad off topic…Funko has these extremely adorable LOTR plushies…I caved and bought the Legolas one. Look them up on Amazon. So cute!

  • Mary the Muse Militant

    Promises ! Promises !
Sounds like a man to me. Bah !

I hope it is your miraculous eye cream Muse that you have been waiting for all your life.
Sounds great and we wait in anticipation for your trusted and honest verdict. 🙂

  • Fuuka

meh…I’m not a big eye cream person to begin with (I am lazy and use Clinique’s All About Eyes Concealer so it’s all in one LOL) but the picture looks like she just has concealer on. If it works though, it is gonna sell like hotcakes. Let’s see how the people react I suppose.

  • Makedonka

🙂 Enjoyed this post very much — can not wait for the review!
You are one fab gal muse! 🙂

  • SJG

that looks like WAAAAAY too much stuff to put near the delicate li’l eyeballs. Just looking at the pic of the concealer part I feel it DRAGGING under my finger and DRAGGING onto the eye area. Nein!!

    • the Muse

really crowstoes? it just came out on HSN a few days ago, how in the world did you test it out so fast!? whoa!

  • michelle

I am also in the market for a new eye creme. I’ve been using Chanel’s Sublimage Eye and haven’t been too happy, so hearing a review from you regarding the Lancome Renergie Eye will be a great way to decide if it’s worth the big dollars!!

Personally, I’d have someone clean the house, walk my dog, and do my laundry, but I already did laundry yesterday, how about wash my car?

Excited to hear the reviews after you’ve given it a test drive!

    • the Muse

ha michelle I’ll see what I can arrange for the car cleaning ;-D haven’t tried Chanel Sublimage Eye because I had heard it wasn’t worth the $$. I’m HOPEFUL lancome proves fruitful!

  • K

Ok now I’m intrigue! 6 in 1?! Really!!! I’m still searching for an eye cream to reduce puffiness……drugstore, over the counter don’t seem to work. But 6 in 1……this better come to Canada fast so I can buy this so call “ultimate eye cream”. 6 in 1 and $100 or maybe more in canadian $ better be the ultimate eye cream! LOL

  • Emily

I’m a little confused. Do we only get to try it for $25 from HSN or anywhere that sells Lancome? Because I NEED!

    • the Muse

emily it’s only available at HSN. they charge this in three bills for three months so broken down it is $25 per a month if you keep it. HSN allows you to return makeup/beauty within 30 days so your first month will be $25 to get it shipped to you and if you decide you like it you pay the remaining balance on it in two more months. If you don’t keep it, you get refunded the money. This is exclusive to HSN and isn’t available at Lancome or Lancome counters.

  • Elyse

I recently purchased this through HSN. The duo is amazing and results were obvious the first wk., however, the eyes are red and burning all the time.
It’s a shame. most woman would pay the amount to take away the dark circles and lines.
    BTW, I am a 37 year old mom/professioanl/non-sleeping/commuter.
    Whooooo….It would have been nice.

    • Susan

I’ve been using this for several weeks now. Maybe many of you don’t need all the benefits lancome claims for this product but I’ve tried so many different products because of my sensitive eyes. I have never had a Lancome product that hurt my eyes. My red burning eyes are from allergies and from being on the computer. Dry eyes is becoming more prevalent with computer use that what my doctor told me. I doubt that it’s the eye cream. I have some good days and not some good days. But over all the eye cream is very emollient which I love. My eyes still have a some darkness and baggy from lack of sleep. But I can tell you that the light reflecting cream is wonderful. I love the way my eyes look after wearing it. It makes my concealer go on much smoother. Just my opinion.

    • dana

Actually, I’m having the same reaction to it and I have no other allergies of any kind. I’ve been using another eye cream from Lancome and had no problems with it, but this one gives me red sore eyes. So I’m pretty sure it is the eye crea,

  • Lori

I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and LOVE it! I am a young 69 and have sagging lids & brows which have been helped a bit by other products but this really works. My eyes do look wider opened, the brows lifted & wrinkles less noticeable. Puffiness is reduced . I can’t speak to dark under-eyes because it’s the only problem I don’t have.

As to the veil—the Lancome gal is correct. It is NOT a concealer but a light transparent film that makes the entire eye look brighter. I use it on my lids & under eye.

I found this site while goggling for a better price for this cream.:)

    • the Muse

lori thanks so much for sharing your thoughts/review ;-D it’s very helpful!

  • Maggie

I am 69 and tried a sample from Dillard’s. I liked the lift and it helped the crow’s feet. Usually I go back to using hand lotion for mosturizing after trying countless other things. I was shocked at the big price tag. It is cheaper than a “Botox brow lift” but still a little too pricey for me. I would be interested to see if Avon or a drugstore brand has anything that rivals this product. Has anyone tried the latest L’oreal (Lancome’s drugstore line) Revitalift?

  • Lorraine

Tried the Rénergie Eye Multiple Action cream, gave a nice affect or was it wishful thinking. the whole line seems very nice but oh so pricey. Has anyone found the cream does what it says. Here in Canada the cream is $90.

  • cj72

i tired it and it worked miracles until it started to burn one day about 3 months in ( only used it in the am). I looked at my eyes later on and the were red where I’d put the cream, puffy and very dry skin under my eyes. It’s $75 here. I do not have sensitive skin, but I have a brand new container used twice and i’m done.

  • susan

I bought this and for two weeks I thought it was fantastic. Then, I thought that I had a food allergy, my eyes were red and puffy, the itched, and burned, watered all day, I was miserable. I discontinued use after about a month when my eyes started peeling and flaking like fish scales, Then I used time zone by estee lauder. a free sample I had. Instantly my eyes were so young, tight and better than I had seen in 15 years. I will return my $75 purchase, and get some great waterproof eye pencils with the refund.

  • C Buckman

I’ve used Lancôme products for years and was recently given a sample for renergie eye cream (I usually use genefique) . I took it on a holiday to NY over Christmas and after using it for a couple of days woke up Dec 23rd with a bad allergic reaction (my eyes were v swollen and sore). I was given steroids and anti-allergy meds which reduced the reaction but made me puffy all over…..awesome for Christmas family gatherings?!? Buyer/user beware!!!!
