Benefit Cosmetics B.Right Radiant Skincare Collection

Benefit Cosmetics B.Right Radiant Skincare Collection has launched a little early! I thought we’d see this in April but Benefit have released it on their site.

Benefit totes this as a solution for brighter looking, more youthful appearing complexion, who doesn’t want those things?

It also happens to be one of the free brands outside of Asia that carries an emulsion!

Let’s take a look!

Say good-bye to dry skin and hello to “total moisture”. This facial cream provides concentrated immediate & long-term hydration for an ultra radiant complexion. Contains exclusive tri-radiance complex to help develop the skin’s reserves of water & reinforce skin’s moisture barrier for a radiantly refreshed complexion. For normal to dry skin.

  • Benefit Cosmetics B.Right Radiant Skincare Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 $32

You may not know you’re dehydrated, but your skin does. Triple performing facial emulsion SPF 15 PA++ hydrates, protects & comforts the skin with an oil-free, lightweight formula.

our eyes can’t keep a secret…they’re the first to show signs of age & stress. It’s potent! eye cream fades dark circles & helps smooth fine lines for brighter, younger-looking eyes. Contains a peptide complex known to help restore elasticity & firmness, a blend of hydrating botanical extracts including apple extract, known to help boost collagen, & loquat extract, known to help protect the skin from free radical damage.

There’s clean & there’s really clean. This 1-step facial wash effectively cleanses the skin & removes makeup & impurities with a soft, gentle lather. Formulated for all skin types.

Dull skin from daily stress? Refined finish facial polish beautifully brightens the complexion, gently exfoliating to purify the skin & help minimize the appearance of pores to reveal skin’s natural radiance. Ooh looks good! Muse, can you explain more about what emulsions are?

    • the Muse

      hi smirking!

      Sure!

Emulsion is a completely different texture compared to a moisturizer. They have a watery, gel-like base. They are considerably lighter than a moisturizer and work best for oily skin or for Summer use when you don’t need a heavy duty moisturizer for day use. Asians prefer them b/c they commonly have oily skin and emulsion is a great way to get the hydration you need without adding more oil into the mix of things.

Some folks use emulsion as a day moisturizer of sorts and a creamier, richer moisturizer for night use. Some even us emulsion prior to creams for more hydration. Normally I tend to buy an emulsion when it’s released in an Asian skincare collection as I find I need the extra moisture b/c the moisturizer proves to thin and not rich enough for my dry skin so emulsion first followed up by moisturizer but this is absolutely not necessary if you have oily or normal skin. one or the other is fine.

I would love to try it, but I have reactive sensitive skin. If something doesn’t burn right away, chances are it will give me a rash. Skin care is a dubious area for me. I have to incorporate an item one at a time to make sure I don’t get reactions. Makeup is another story, most items don’t bother my skin, aside from foundations, very careful there as well, but almost everything else is open season!

I’ve been thinking of changing up my skincare routine a lot lately. I’ve looked into Origins and read your reviews of their products and their looking really good. This line also looks pretty nice, I’m gonna check it out too 🙂

I’ve been using Dermalogica for a while and it’s great n all but… I’ve sorta like gotten bored of it lol which sounds really dumb when I say it out loud but… idk I just wanna try something new 😛

        • the Muse

not dumb at all cj ;-D been there!!!!!!! ;-D I remember you told me you were trying this out *head desk* sorry I forgot ;-D! I used to be a Lush girl only but the blog kinda forced me into situations of trying new stuff and I’m def the same now, I get easily bored and always wanting to try something new ;-D! Shouldn’t be the case with skincare but sometimes it just stops working, my skin becomes immune to it or something so I move on ;D!

    • Elizabeth

It looks quite similar to the Korean brand The Saem from their Icelandic line

  • Butterdaisy

love the packaging as well. I certainly want to try these bc they seem like a good fit for my skin-type.

      • ribbonroses

I shall watch out for your review then 🙂 I was talking to a Benefit lady yesterday who says it’s potent is *even* better than eyecon, if that’s true then I really can’t wait! Ooh and by the way thank you for your Hello Flawless review, it was the most useful amd honest one I could find anywhere (that’s how I found your blog actually) I bought some about a couple of weeks ago now and I love it 😀 keep up the good work 😀 x
