Take a look!

E.L.F. Cosmetics Beauty Book Bright Eye Edition $4.99

E.L.F. Cosmetics Summer Ready 48 Piece Cool Lip & Eye Palette $4.99

I tried one of the 32 Shade Palettes a while ago and wasn’t too crazy about it but I will say that almost all the neutrals in that palette applied very well so I have my eye on a few of the nude/natural selections in this round up.

I’m really enjoying the Spring touches on the boxes as well, they look rather cute and would make a sweet addition to an Easter basket dontcha think?

E.L.F. is a little bit of a hit and miss for me but at these prices I won’t feel too guilty indulging and possibly being disappointed but hey, who knows, it might turn into a fab beauty budget pick.

Available now at Target or shop them online at www.Target.com and enjoy Free Shipping when you buy any two sets.

What do you think of these kits?

Will you indulge?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Perfect gifties to tuck into your Tween/Teen’s Easter Basket, for sure.

agreed auro ;-D I like what they did with the boxes, so spring-y ;D!

  • LaurieS

These look super cute for my tween but do you know if the shadows wear well and are pigmented? Also, do they have “scent”? My girlie will love the instruction inside the pallette.

I have never tried ELF but a couple of these pallettes are tempting. The Everyday Basics 32 piece set, the Neutral Eye and the Bright Eye look appealing.

Reading this I’m feeling disappointed by the markup on the UK elf site.

I’m used to the fact that they charge us 1.50 for $1.50 items and 3.50 for the $3 items, but this is getting ridiculous: rather than $5 the basic & bright 32-eyeshadow palettes (see here: cost 9 for us, which is about $14.50, i.e. almost triple the price!

I’ll definitely be watching my impulse purchases from elf UK in future!

🙁 My Target ditched ELF a while back, so I bet they won’t be getting these in. I swear, the only really interesting thing they’ve had in the past six months is Seche Vite, and they put it all on clearance, so I doubt they’ll even stock that any more.

(On the plus side, I got a bottle of Seche Vite for less than five bucks. XD)

aw sorry qunctia I did hear that target is revamping the beauty section so maybe you’ll see some new stuff soon!

  • jackie

Those sets look really cool…I wonder if they’ll be available on the ELF website soon. For $5, you won’t really be losing much money.

  • Regina

Most of the ELF palettes have worked for me, but I especially like their studio single eyeshadows. I think like any line, they have some hit and miss stuff but overall it’s worth it. Besides, if you hate it you can chuck it and not feel the burn in your bank!!

    • the Muse

agreed regina ;-D you can just toss it and not really blink about how much you spent on it ;D!
