Etude House Cleansing Dream Cleansing Foam Review
I’ve had Etude House Cleansing Dream Cleansing Foam hanging out in my stash for a while. I purchased and reviewed the Etude House Cleansing Dream Cleansing Oil a while back ago as well.
Let’s take a look at the cleaning foam today!
A cleansing foam for removing dirt, oil, and makeup.
Don’t quote me here but I don’t believe Etude House does the Cleansing Dream Collection anymore but I’m sure if you fall in love with this after my review you can easily find it on evil bay.
I think the main appeal when I purchased it was the packaging. I’m such a packaging junkie and the sweet, delicate floral motif really slayed me and I felt like I actually needed another cleansing foam. Can you say problems?
It’s pretty much a traditional Asian collagen wash formula in my opinion. It starts out life as a pearly, rich cream which when wet works into a highly moisturizing foam. It does super duty on foaming up and creating thick, glorious mounds of lather for cleaning your face with. It does a great job of getting skin squeaky clean and has a soft floral scent that’s quite pleasant, thankfully it doesn’t sport the toilet paper scent that Etude House Cloud Bubble Foam had, phew dodged a bullet there! It’s not going to remove eye makeup so of course use an oil based remover first before following up with this and for the best results use a cleansing oil and proceed to follow up with the foam.
It made my face slightly tight after use but no long term dryness so long as I follow up with a moisturizer.
A friend got this for me as she lives in Korea however it could prove a pain to track down online with jacked up prices.
- Anyone who hasn’t tried an Asian Cleansing Foam before (this is a nice one to start with).
- Anyone wanting a solid cleanser that gets skin squeaky clean!
- Those unwilling to deal with online shopping, airmail fees, etc…(this is sold in Korea and a few select Asian countries).
- Those who already own a slew of cleansing foams (the packaging is cute but the formula is the same one you’ll get with any other product of its kind).
I love Etude House and enjoyed this however if you already own a heap of cleansing foams you probably don’t need it. If you’ve never tried a cleansing foam from Asia before this is a nice one to track down.
