Giorgio Armani Beauty Eyes to Kill Intense Collection

Giorgio Armani Beauty Eyes to Kill Intense Collection Spring 2011

Praise the makeup gods! The Giorgio Armani Beauty Eyes to Kill Intense Collection has launched! I’m quite excited about this release and even MORE so after seeing the fabulous photos of each shade.

Check it!

This an innovative hybrid texture, which is not a powder, nor a cream but acts like a smooth, lasting color film. Shades are intesified with a secondary pigmented for a multidimensional effect.

The shadows promise 24-hour color wear with a formula that’s crease-proof, flake-proof, waterproof and sweat-proof. Mind you not many people need a shadow to last for 24 hours but oily lids can appreciate one that stays put for eight hours, at the very least!

At this point I’m debating whether to just give in and order online or head to my counter for a swatch. I think I might be smart and go to the counter as these seem like a formula I should have a swatch fest with before going too crazy by shopping it online!

The shades aren’t cheap, $32 each, but if they wear as pretty as they look, the price won’t mean much!

What do you think?

Am I the only one who thinks they look like those candy rocks that are mottled in color? Lol. The shadows look beautiful, but I can’t get over the association with the colored rocks!

Swatch please! US$32 is mucho ouch to the pocketbook for me, but I might cave… if the swatches make them look worth it ;) Airy Jade, White Punch & White/Black Grey have my vote.

These are so beautiful! I don’t have an Armani counter near me, so I would love to see some swatches and your thoughts on the formula.

I have a hard time finding the brand locally. I might search again because I’m not spending half the cost of a Chanel quad on one shadow without seeing touching smelling it first. :)

These look really pretty. Where would I get them? I haven’t seen Georgio Armani makeup at my local Dillards or Macys.

These are gorgeous. So many “long-wear” products are anything but.. I am one who needs stay put shadow bc it usually creases after while and I really really hate that. I love red/burgundy/wine eyeshadows too. Please let us know if these live up to the promise.
