Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Review

Gather around Daisy fans. You so need to check out the low calorie version of the new Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh for Spring! Fresher, lighter, and oh so delicate this is a most beautiful selection for your Spring fragrance wardrobe!

Check it!

The new Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh is a lighter, fresher, fruity version of the original Daisy fragrance. This is a whimsical creation that removes alot of the heavier floral notes found in Daisy and replaces them with fruity layers that make the scent very fun and bubbly.

I love Daisy but I have to say I’m an Eau So Fresh convert now as I think I like it even more than its big sister, Daisy.

I can’t really pick out the notes as they all blend together to create this lush, light fruitiness that’s simply gorgeous but I’d say first spray you’ll get sparkling raspberry notes. The raspberry is followed closely by just the right amount of tart grapefruit and hints of violet and rose which morph and create an exotic floral note. Apple blossom seems to come out as a dominate note as dry down begins while musks and cedarwood give the fruity notes a little kick up.

In the end you get a playful floral scent with cheerful sweetness and a woodsy underlay that gives the blend a certain maturity.

At 2.5 oz it’s a generously sized bottle topped with pale pink peach, white and yellow daisies. The pale peachy bottle mimics the fun fragrance inside and makes for a fun little piece for your vanity. For an Eau de Toilette you’ll be quite happy with its decent throw and a linger that simply goes on and on and on so people will turn, take notice, and possibly ask, “What is that you’re wearing?” I’ve already heard it twice today!

If you’re a lover of Daisy, without a doubt, you’ll adore Daisy Eau de Fresh. Fun, fresh, and oh so playful it’s a perfect Spring scent after a long, dark, cold Winter.

Have you sniffed it?

I love this fragrance! I just bought it this weekend. I like the original Daisy, but love this one even more.

  • Anna Wang

This looks wonderful and I’ve been eyeing it for awhile. Is it limited addition? When I splurge on anything over $50 I like to wait for the Sephora FF sale… although that is ages away… college budgets, ya know? ><

    • the Muse

hey anna I think it’s around to stay hun as they do not have it listed as LE ;-D so you’re safe. can totally relate, been through the bad college budget years, totally understand ’em well ;-D!

Oh you got me all excited about this! It sounds really good. The original one was too floral for my liking but I love fruity fragrances. I’ll be sure to stop by Sephora later to check it out 🙂

    • the Muse

original is def heavy duty floral rose but this is much more delicate and fresh ;-D lmk what you think when you tried it?

      • Rose

I love it! And even better: they had the cutest 4ml bottles here (much more affordable when you switch scents as often a I do haha) Looks almost exactly the same as the big one, it’s just smaller. Not sure if this is just available in Europe though… No matter, I got one and am happy with it! 😀

rose I haven’t seen those they sound adorable ;-D might be a euro thing only!

  • amelia

i personally prefer the original. the berries in this gave me a headache- i find the original lighter.

Oh goodness. Muse, help me! I am so torn! It’s between this and Prada Infusion d’Iris for my birthday gift from my mom (my host mother in Paris wore the Prada scent and I simply love it plus it brings back memories of Paris!). I am not a perfume person (I don’t currently have a scent), but I am desperately searching for my go-to perfume and I know it will be one of these two! I know you reviewed the Prada a bit ago, so I was wondering — if you could only have one, which would you splurge on?

    • the Muse

prada sammie ;-D Daisy is easy to dupe but the Prada is a unique blend ;D!

I recently got the original Daisy for my birthday, and I must say, I love the Eau So Fresh as much as I do the original! I received a Sephora gift card as well, and I don’t know whether or not I should buy a bottle of this or the Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche.. Thoughts?
