Tony Moly Ice Queen Snow White Sleeping Cream Review

I get an awful lot of questions regarding the best sleeping masks for brightening and whitening skin. Honestly, not many of them do all that much in my experience.

However, I am on my second container of Tony Moly Ice Queen Snow White Sleeping Cream and I gotta say some of the best results I’ve seen are from it.

Check it!

A sleeping pack that brightens and whitens skin as you rest!

I did a post a few months ago describing Sleeping Masks and what they are, you can see that post here to brush up on your knowledge of a sleeping pack/mask!

You’re probably oooo’ing and ahhhh’ing over the very cute packaging and who can blame you? This is an adorable little tub that’s shaped like an ice cream sundae but don’t let the kawaii packaging fool you, the quality of the mask is quite brilliant!

This sleeping mask contains lemon balm, green tea, and lavender to not only sooth your skin but also to brighten and whiten it. To use, you simply scoop a small amount out and apply it after your normal skincare regime in the evening. You want to pat it gently onto your skin but not massage it in. The product melts into skin as per its name, “ice cream”. It absorbs easily but leaves behind a dewy, damp finish which is exactly how you want to go to bed as it absorbs as you rest. Apply directly at the point you are heading to sleep for the best results.

The formula is a fluffy, thick cream that feels like water and “melts” upon contact with your skin. In the morning you simply wash your face as normal.

Does it work?

Yes! My skin always looks incredible after use and I’m looking brighter, less tired, and whiter in the AM. I absolutely adore how brighter and luminous my skin looks after using this.

However….

Results aren’t lasting so this doesn’t really give you brighter or whiter skin as a long term result of use. I find the effects wear away after a long day at play or work and by the time evening roles around that beautiful less than dull look returns but hey the effect is damn nice while it lasts!

  • Anyone interested in looking their very best when they wake in the morning!
  • Anyone wanting a brighter, whiter, less than tired appearance in the AM!
  • Anyone with duller skin in need of a pick me up!

  • Anyone who wants long term brightening and whitening or those with hyper pigmentation or sun damage that want to whiten such areas (the results are temporary in my experience with the product).
  • Those who aren’t keen on shopping online, dealing with airmail, etc…(this is available exclusively in Korea and can’t be purchased within the US).

Overall, Tony Moly Ice Queen Snow White Sleeping Cream is one of my favorite packs for night time use. The results are fleeting but I’d rather have that than nothing at all. My skin hasn’t become immune to the mask either so every time I use it I always get brilliant results and my duller skin is always left looking whiter, brighter, and alot less stressed out. Dullness eases considerably and I feel like the start of my makeup day is considerably better as my makeup always looks so much better on a face sans dullness!

Love this!

Very Muse Approved for purchase!

Ahhh! This packaging is awesome! I just wish I could find the ingredients list for this cream and the spf one you reviewed a little bit back. No sense in purchasing something that my skin is going to reject outright. It’s maddening to wade through pages of results to no avail. 🙁

Stop reviewing these cutesy products! I can’t handle “gimme gimme gimme monster” any more! 😛

    • the Muse

  • Petitez

Did you try the tomato mask from Tony Moly? It’s good too! 🙂

  • jenn

hi dear, may i know is the snow white sleeping cream can use daily? all skin type? how about sensitive skin? thanks for sharing 🙂

    • the Muse

Hi Jenn all skin types can use it but always a good idea to spot test before applying all over your face. I don’t use it daily, every other day. It feels gentle enough to use daily but I’d use it as a treatment maybe twice a week or every other day.

Hey again! I was wondering if you could recommend another product similar to this. Im looking for something with the same effect to make my skin look bright and awake when I wake even if its temporary. I looked across the Internet for this but only found the green tea one 🙁 I’m ordering the Secret Key Snow White cream, some bbs,and I’m looking for something like this. Every thing you recommend I always end up loving so anything you could think of to produce similar effects would be greatly appreciated. You are the ONLY one I go to before I spend my money. Thank you!!
