Victoria’s Secret Love Me Wild Radiant Face Trio Review, Photos, Swatches

Victoria’s Secret has several shades of a new Love Me Wild Radiant Face Trio. I thought these were LE (VS’s website listed them as such) but they have a place right on the general catalog shelf so I guess they are sticking around for a while?

Let’s take a peek!

A glimmering all in one blusher, highlighter, and bronzer!

This is made up of three shades with a dominant blusher shade in peachy pink. It’s a leopard print which has not only hints of the peachy pink blush but also a shimmering highlighter in creamy gold and a bronzer in a muddy brown. You can’t use the shades individually as the design is too small to do so however swirling into all three shades brings back hints of peachy, pink, bronze, and shimmering golden beige.

I purchased it because I love the peachy-pink that dominates the design. It reminds me of NARS Orgasm a little bit but isn’t a dupe by any means.

I’ve always been a-ok with Victoria’s Secret makeup. Some items are a hit, some a miss but I’ve never purchased anything that was terrible quality and this powder is pretty good. Pigmentation is quite nice, formula is silky, and the price point isn’t too bad at $16.

I use a Bobbi Brown Blusher Brush (it’s a smaller head with a domed design that comes with her exclusive sets) to apply my blush and forgo bushier brushes. However, in this case I have to depend on a bushy brush as the powder becomes a bit irritating to blend as it’s picking up either too little of the blush or too much of the highlighter/bronze which results in patchy blending problems.

Whichever brush you choose to use you have to be sure you swirl in all the shades and tap off excess. It takes a little TLC to get the blush in place and more than once I came out of the situation looking like a spotted leopard myself with spots of peach on one side of my face and bronzer/shimmery areas on other sides of my face.

Not a good look, trust me!

I admit I did find the blending problem an issue and an irritation. I was left wishing they just left out the bronzer and highlighter and kept the gorgeous pinky peach blush shade only!

  • Anyone who wants a warmer pinky peach blush!
  • Anyone who loves shades of blush such as Bella Bamba, NARS Orgasm, and Coralista.

  • Anyone who gets easily irritated with blending issues.

I wanna slap a Muse Approval on this because I heart the shade so hard but the blending issue really irked me. The shade is beautiful but for some reason or another I’m really having problems getting it just right on my face and who wants to spend 10 minutes on blush application?

Seriously?

Anyone try it?

Dang! I almost got this blush, but I’m glad I didn’t because I hate stuff that is not easy to blend because it looks like you have blocks on your cheek! Thanks for the review!

Great review. I’m usually so rushed in the morning that something this fiddly would end up in my daughter’s drawer. I have zero patience with stuff I have to make work.

I love these!!! I got three of the four shades. I use a big powder brush to put on my blush, so I have no troubles with blending.

I got Mate, White Hot, and Captivate. I’m not sure which one you have here, but it looks like Captivate.
White Hot works great as a cheek highlight color, its my favorite so far.
Oh and the lipsticks from this collection were quite nice too.
