Love, Chloe Eau de Parfume Review

I’m trying to put my finger on what Love, Chloe smells like. It seems so very familiar to my nose. Have you smelled it yet? Any idea what it reminds you of?

Either way I’m loving it!

Although just recently released it feels like Love, Chloe will be one of those timeless fragrances that you’ll reach for again and again. This release would be best suited to Fall or Winter due to the warmer notes I get from the fragrance but it’ll make an excellent choice for evening wear as well!

The scent is very sensual and rich with notes I can’t easily pick apart as they all combine in a beautiful powdery musk that’s warm and comforting.

Notes include Orange Blossom, Pink Pepper, Iris, Lilac, Hyacinth, Wisteria Blossom, Powdery Musks, Talc, and Rice Powder. I think the Talc and Rice Powder add a certain warm richness to the blend so you aren’t left with too much floral. I honestly find it difficult picking the floral notes out of the bunch but I do get hints and touches of Pink Pepper and Hyacinth.

At first spritz you might not love the scent but give it a chance to warm on your skin and stronger, cleaner powder notes will come through and create a sensual, feminine fragrance that proves rather addicting.

I absolutely love the bottle which has a thin gold chain that keeps the cap attached to the bottle.

Although light it still feels like an ideal scent for Fall, Winter, or evening wear to me.

Really love this one.

Worth a try if you like more powdery fragrances with softer floral notes.

just ordered this for my ma for mother’s day 🙂 so powdery, reminded me of love’s baby soft, which she digs

    • the Muse

hmm hey d! I didn’t get the baby soft vibe…I was thinking maybe something from Lady primrose? I dunno it seems so familiar ;D!

    Hi Muse,
I really loved the scent from the bottle, reminded me of gummy bears :b. But after using it a while now, I think prefer the regular Chloe which is softer and more romantic imo. On my skin Love, Chloe dries down very powdery, it almost smells like Chanel No.5 on me..

    • the Muse

hey b! chloe never really gets powdery on me that may be why I’m loving Love, Chloe. As I always get a very light floral from the original ;-D this was richer, comforting very warm and sensual ;D I’m so sorry it wasn’t for you :-/ I really liked it. Did you see the new Rose Chloe?!

  • Casey

Hey, I was wondering, how does this compare to the original Chloe fragrance? The one with the little pink ribbon bow on it?

    • the Muse

completely different casey 🙂 it’s a warmer fragrance where as the original is very light. You can see my review of it in a past post 🙂 the notes are completely diff as well 🙂

      • Casey

Thanks! I might go take a whiff next time I’m at a place with perfumes. I do like warmer notes, so this sounds really nice 🙂 Plus I’m in love with the bottle…so simple but has a touch of…I don’t know. It’s awesome haha.

Love is the perfect name for this fragrance. I love how it’s very soft and feminine but it has some staying power behind it too! My boyfriend laughs because I spray it on when I shower at night even if I’m just going to bed. Sweet dreams indeed! 🙂

    • the Muse

ooo michelle that’s lovely ;-D it’s so soothing and warm, perfect for sweet dreams haha ;D! I really like this one. It does indeed have a nice stay to it.

have always adored Chloe’s perfume, especially the EDP, that has always been a firm favourite!

  • Jennifer

It probably smells familiar because it was inspired by coty face powder!

  • Taryn

I bought it last month and think it smells like Grandma, yet I still like it a lot! That sounds pretty weird, but it’s got a relaxing scent to it, IMO.

Another scent that is a little granny-ish is J. Lo’s Glow yet I love that one too.

Muse, do you know where I can pick up a bottle of Chantilly? Do they sell it with the denture cream? LOL

    • the Muse

LOL taryn yes, it’s def in the denture cream aisle ;-D! or how about a nice bottle of Charlie?! LMAO

  • Catherine

Unfortunately this is too powdery for me!! I bought it on a whim because the original chloe EDP is my all time fav, but I’ve recently swapped it away. Wanted to love it so badly 🙁

I absolutely LOVE this fragrance!! I was an original Chloe lover {still am}, like the second edition and LOve this. Florals are my favrite and i worry about smelling like an old lady, but with Chloe you don’t have that problem.

I would love some body lotion to go with it.

Way late, but this totally smells like Secret Powder Fresh deodorant to me. So much so, that it almost ruined it for me when I made the connection, but alas I worked through it and love it still.
