MAC Magically Cool Liquid Powder Collection

It’s nice to see that MAC is launching their Magically Cool Liquid Powder as a permanent collection. Originally introduced with the Venomous Villains Collection I fell in love with this cool, refreshing powder.

Let’s take a look!

In the height of the summer swelter, who doesnt crave, to suddenly feel, look and be cooler – shine, oil and heat – all gone! youve longed for it. And now its captured! Mac Magically Cool Liquid Powder. An alchemical fusion that charms water droplets into a loose powder while remaining over 50 percent H2O. The feather light silky powder goes on with the refreshing impact of an ocean mist.

Whats more, this magical melange contains just enough optical blurring via its light diffusing pigments to render the skins surface into line softened. natural luminosity. A cool-to-be-cool way to set, and enhance, the look of foundation. For the bare-faced, theres the reward of natural radiance. During its earlier limited edtion launch, it was hailed by cognoscenti wanting to stay covertly cool and perfectly collected. This time round its here to stay. How magical is that?

Magically Cool Liquid Powder ($29.50)

  • Truth and Light Sheer shimmer that reflects silver and pink
  • Cajun Sheer bronze shimmer that reflects gold
  • Honey Rose Sheer rosy beige with multi-dimensional shimmer

Coming May 5th, 2011

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I will absolutely be indulging! I didn’t get to try these when they came out before so I can’t wait! They sounds amazing, especially for the summer 🙂

I’d love to try the Honey Rose.
I’ll take a peek when they arrive at MAC.

  • The Beauty Alchemist

I love these. I get sooo oily and hot and ahem, dewy in summer that these were fab. Mostly used the sheer one for all over. Cajun was very dark.,

This reminds me of Prescriptives Magic Powder. Since Prescriptives went away, do you think MAC just sort of nabbed this? I’m curious to play with it and see how it compares

    • the Muse

since both are made by the same company it’s possible holly ;-D! look at comfort cream ;D!

Ooooooooh. MAC releases are always delayed here, though, so we’ll be seeing this when it’s rainy already (if at all). Still, nice!

it is very similar to Urban Decay’s razor sharp powder with the optical blurring (which i am in love with) i tried mac one with venomous villians and much preferred urban’s one 🙂

Sounds tempting 😀 Although it was just snowing yesterday over here…. =_= And I’m weary of MAC products because of all the breakout stories lol 🙁
