Maybelline The Bright Side Collection Summer 2011

Maybelline The Bright Side Collection Summer 2011 6

Maybelline The Bright Side Collection should be popping up at your local drugstore. This is one of the first Maybelline Summer 2011 Collections I’ve seen so far.

Let’s take a quick look!

The collection features bright shades of lime, yellow, peach, and blue single eyeshadows and an shadow palette which I showed you yesterday which features a few brighter colors (CLICK!).

Also available are new flavors of Maybelline Shine Sensational Lipglosses. I saw lime, cherry, pineapple, orange, papaya, and a few other flavors. Most of the glosses lacked shimmer like the original collection so I imagine they’ll be glossy and clear, no need to haul all of them. I will say the green shade which is lime sounds fun!

Two shades of pink and peach blush also accompanied the color collection.

And finally several new shades of neon nail polish made of the collection as well.

The collection is very fun and offers an affordable way for nude, natural girls to spice up their Summer Wardrobe.

I’ll have swatches and a review up shortly of some items I hauled.

It looks really nice and colorful!! I am obsessed with bright eyeshadows so I think I would pick some of them up…but hopefully they’re pigmented. I find that sometimes maybelline can be chalky.

I just picked up a ton of this today, and love it. I got the shadow palette and the colors seem to be quite pigmented and went on really smooth for me. I actually like the blush, and I haven’t used a powder blush in years because I don’t like the way it looks on me. The turquoise eyeliner is a lot of fun and I got the lip gloss in Cherry Chill and it has a cool, kind of chilly feeling to it. Oh, and the teal appeal Great Lash mascara is really visible, not just a slight tint, but really TEAL. All in all, I’m pleased. :D
