Review: Start Spring By Adding Hello Kitty Body Splash To Your Stash!

Although I admit the Hello Kitty Fragrance Eau de Parfum Spray is where the real magic happens, OMG hello uber cute bottle but I still have love in my heart for the Hello Kitty Body Splash too! Cheaper, bigger, and fabulous for Spring and Summer!

Check it!

At $55 for 1.7 oz the fragrance isn’t particularly cheap but if you’re wanting to try it out or have tried it and just love it but can’t justify the price you can save yourself $20 bucks and indulge in the larger Body Splash at $35 for an 8.4 oz bottle!

I was quite hyped about the Body Splash as it’ll be ideal for refilling my perfume bottle when I’ve used it all up! Although an Eau de Toilette it’s surprisingly strong, long wearing, and has a nice throw plus since it’s a splash you can use it anywhere for light fragrance in the warm weather! Splash it behind your knees, on the back of your neck, on your throat, anywhere you want a touch of fragrance!

As I mentioned in my prior review of the perfume the scent is surprisingly pretty. You might think Hello Kitty and automatically think slightly immature thus having images of a juvenile scent dancing through your head. But not the case at all, this is a rather sweet, fruity floral blend that’s quite refreshing, light, and sparkling!

Opening notes of Italian Mandarin give a hint of citrus while Apple plays a dominate role in the blend and Tonka Bean, Vanilla, and Musk create a warmer layer. The scent is sparkling and pretty with notes that aren’t overly sweet, fruity, or too floral. They come out fresh and clean with hints fruit and sweetness!

If you like your fragrances playful, Hello Kitty Body Splash is for you! It’s also a cheaper option than indulging in the perfume or to act as a refill if you’ve used up your perfume already.

Quite love this!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. I got the rollerball fragrance when the line was previewed during the winter and it’s sort of sat unloved on my dresser for a while. I love the idea of the notes as well as the open, but on the drydown it morphs into something overpowering and sort of powdery on me…I don’t know if that’s my skin chemistry going wonky with it or just a quirk of the perfume. Maybe the splash would be less overpowering for my poor, overly sensitive sinus passages.

I did a Google search looking for this body splash and your blog came up so I wanted to read what you wrote about it since I follow your blog. My youngest daughter purchased this years back and loves it well is obsessed with it actually. Then it isn’t made anymore. During the holidays, Christmas, I found a bottle and bought it and she ecstatic. Now my oldest daughter wants some and that is not a good thing because it is no longer made. Just sharing this since I came here to read your review. I will add that I can smell it on someone else and I really like it but I can’t wear it because of the hint of musk in the base notes. I just can’t tolerate anything with musk.
