Tony Moly Mini Berry Lip Balm Review, Swatches, Photos

Being an avid collector of Asian cosmetics I can honestly say that I probably have enough fruit shaped makeup products that should the zombie plague happen, I can depend on these products as my fresh produce.

Seriously, I’m going to start making fruit baskets for friends with this stuff.

Gawd, I can’t take the cuteness! Tony Moly Mini Berry Lip Balms are shaped like tiny little blueberries and cherries, see the appeal?

Squeal!

A tinted lip balm with a berry flavor and an SPF 15.

Yes, I’m a child at heart so these totally appealed to my inner kid. Each lip balm comes housed in a blueberry or cherry shaped container. The little jars are a little bigger than a quarter and when uncapped reveal an emollient tinted lip balm!

The balms are both flavored the same or at least to my taste buds they are. It’s a combination of different berries with a dominant tart cherry note. It’s quite tasty but won’t prove brilliant for those sensitive to flavored lip balms, I personally love it. The Blueberry shade is a subtle cherry where as the Cherry is a coral. The formula is very creamy and moisturizing. It glides onto lips and leaves behind a subtle hint of natural color with a nice, glossy finish. It wears comfortably and quite long for a balm.

Although the packaging is darling, the content is equally as nice aside from the fact…

You have to dip into the product with fingers to apply sadly. I’m not too keen on this type of packaging but try to overlook it!

  • Those who like conversation pieces (the cute design is sure to evoke some chatter when you whip it out to apply).
  • Those wanting a nicely hydrating lip balm that keeps lips shiny and pretty with added sun protection!

  • Those sensitive to fragrance or flavor in their lip balms.
  • Those that aren’t keen on finger application!

The balms are about $3-$4 within Korean but I’ve seen them online for $8-$10. I personally paid $10 each at YesStyle.com as I thought it was a fair deal by USD standards. I know the packaging is utterly adorable but don’t overlook the fact that you’re getting a solid lip balm in with the deal as well that gently flushes lips with color and leaves behind a glossy finish with sun protection!

Likey lots!

😀 not really specific to this (although i rather adore lip balms like this) but i’ve been meaning to ask where you buy your korean goodies in flushing! i’ve stopped by a few pharmacies (of the chinese sort) and they carry korean makeup but whenever i overhear them speaking in cantonese, they’re always talking about the profit they make over people who buy things like that and i can’t bear to buy it xD

I have the tomato skin brightener and the apple scrub. Finished the tomato brightener, and now it’s cleaned out for something pretty to be put in it 😀

There IS a peach-shaped one made by the same brand! They have three: Cherry, Blueberry, and Peach. The Peach one is suppose to have a peach flavor and everything—just no color. You might want to check it out!

Those are too cute to be allowed! It’s actually lucky for me they take a little bit of extra effort to acquire here in the US, because I’d totally buy them and I’ve never EVER used any potted lip balm I’ve ever gotten. 😉 I usually go for stick form, though the Jack Black stuff has gotten me to use a squeezy tube.

omg, these are so cute! I would get them just for the packaging. *-*

Precious! Just so cute I could die LOL. I love them both! This I would pay the 10 bucks for just for the packaging nevermind the balm LOL. Think I’ll snag some for my girls. They’ll squeal for sure 🙂

Aww man, those are too cute! I’m always on the hunt for more lipbalms. And I actually prefer a jar to stick my fingers in, rather than something on a stick or tube.

Another place to get Korean skincare is gmarket.com. I use the singgapore site so it’s gmarket.com.sg ships directly from korea. Some/most merchants ship overseas. Shipping is cheap.

I just bought the lemon Whitening sleeping mask and the apple therapy sleeping mask.. Like five mins ago! Fruit containers are SO the trend now. Lol!

Tony Moly does it again! These remind me of EOS lip balms (always such a conversation piece as well). I really like the shades…so great for spring!
