Bobbi Brown Pretty Natural Tinted Moisturizer Summer 2011

If you’re already using BB Creams chances are you dropped the words “Tinted Moisturizer” from your makeup life’s vocabulary. I know I kinda have.

But being that Summer will be here soon and the weather will be warmer many of us want to start using lighter coverage on our faces and if we have to trust ourselves to a TM might as well be from our BBF (best brand friend), Bobbi Brown.

Jump!

“Tinted moisturizers are a great option for summer because they offer lightweight coverage that lets skin show through. Plus, SPF makes them a great all-in-one choice.”-Bobbi Brown

These modern gel-based formulas for normal to oily skin types have an SPF 15 to help prevent sun damage and a light, refreshing formula that blends easily while hydrating the skin and offering sheer, natural looking coverage! Bobbi created these with Collagen boosting peptides to help strengthen and firm skin. There are two variations available one that’s oil free for oily skin and one for dry skin that helps lock moisture in.

Each is available in nine skin tone correct shades:

  • Alabaster Tint
  • Extra Light Tint
  • Light Tint
  • Light to Medium Tint
  • Medium Tint
  • Medium to Dark Tint
  • Dark Tint
  • Deep Tint
  • Rich Tint

The SPF is a little low here but I’m going to throw it out there and say the formula is probably superior.

These are available now on counter and at www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com

I love Bobbi for taking the initiative to have two separate formulas here. My dry skin can indeed use the extra moisture plus the ingredients that help seal in that hydration and I’m sure those with oily skin will be quite pleased with the oil-free version of the product. Unlike other brands who throw a single TM formulation at us this is what sets Bobbi Brown apart and makes it such a fabulous brand.

I auditioned several TM’s for about a month, and I have to say that BB’s is superior. I got the regular formula in Extra Light, and it truly does exactly what it claims to do – sinks right in, evens things out, looks like my skin but better! I highly recommend.

Lillie I haven’t technically tried these yet but I thought if anyone could do TM spot on it would be Bobbi. I’m happy to hear it’s working out so well, def going to add them to my list ;D!

  • peacelovepanic

I have been trying out tinted moisturizers for the first time this summer. The only one that I have tried so far was Josie Maran. It is a little thinker than I would expected a tinted moisturizer to be but it works great and has SPF 30

    • the Muse

chanel I really like Josie’s as well! best one I tried in a while!

  • Musebeliever

I don’t like the visual at all !
Not buying this. I much prefer my Herborian BB cream.

did anyone notice that the model seemed to have a line drawn from the inner edge of her brows to the curve of her cheeks to the smile line by her mouth? it seems kind of weird to me. (no offense to anyone.)

i have never used bobbi brown, but the ad was very pretty until i noticed the line

    • Mary the Muse Militant

I see that. The white curved line thats makes her face look disjointed.
I’ll be reading all the reviews about Bobbi Brown’s TM. Hope they can give a sample.

  • JenJ

I sure do want to try it! I’m trying to be good and use up Laura Mercier’s first. Let’s see I hold up lol!

  • Morgan

I’ve tried a swatch at Sephora, and the formula is great! And it’s the only tinted moisturizers I’ve seen that actually has more than two shades! But why is the spf so damn low? I can never figure that out.

I haven’t tried the product and I probably never will.

I just wanted to say the model looks odd. Not only that but why did they make her look sickly? I guess I could maybe understand the colors if it were a winter release but this is almost summer. I want some bright colors in there!

  • Brooke

woe..dat model’s neck is waaaaay 2 skinny..luks like her head’s gonna snap right offfff! :O
