Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow Palette Lilium Review, Swatches, Photos
I wasn’t thinking Spring when I originally saw the Chanel Quardra Eyeshadow Palette in Lilium for Summer 2011. All that green had me thinking Fall but than the combination of browns and greens had me at rebirth, renewal, Spring….

The palette is made up of beige peach that can used to highlight with, a chartreuse green, a blackened forest green, and a taupe-y gray. The shades compliment each other very well and have a pigmented formula that blends easily with a fine silky finish and tiny bit of frost. Their suggestion is using the darker green on the outer v with the lighter applied on the inner eye area and the peach highlighting the brow area and finally the taupe on the bottom lash line.
I did have some minor issues seeing any contrast and definition from the two greens but this is probably a problem with my own skill as I always have problems with chartreuse-like shades for some odd reason. I actually could have gotten along without the shade completely since it’s not the most flattering shade on my brown eyes and I prefer richer greens so I’ll be skipping it in my next look and using the other three shades sans that lighter green!
The quad definitely gives me more of a Fall or Spring vibe but with a cooler shade of blush on cheeks and a pink lipstick you can easily get a tropical vibe from it a la the promo model’s look!
If you’re a fond fan of Chanel you’ll want to pick this one up particularly if you wear green and brown combos best.
