Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender Eau de Toilette Spray Review

Long weekend ahead!

W00t! I can’t wait. I was so tempted, soooooo tempted to head to Phoenix Comic Con this weekend to stalk Wil Wheaton but I’m kinda Con’ed out as I’ve been to three or four this year already and saw him recently at another Con…I didn’t want him to realize I was stalking him you see, there’s a method to the madness. I should be over my Con hang over by February of next year to attend Gallifrey One though, maybe we can get WW there and dress him in a bow tie and a fez, it’s my sexual fantasy come true. You’re doing it wrong Wil…! I need a set of Christian Louboutin Bianca Platform Pump in Merlot and I can totally capture his eye, either that or wear some Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender Eau de Toilette Spray for the win!

’bout that Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender….

Jump!

I really love scents that have a bit of a masculine edge to them! The kind that make you feel like you’re getting a big old warm hug from your best guy friend, boyfriend, or husband! Both Kate Walsh’s Boyfriend and Marc Jacobs Biscotti are both scents that mimic that hard, comforting hug and Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender comes in for the win along a similar vein!

I thought I was in love with the Camellia version of this wonderful scent but after trying Lavender it’s becoming harder and harder to decide which is better!

I’m not keen on lavender notes but this scent cocktails it with green tea and it becomes an warm, exhilarating scent that feels like a comforting hug!

At first spray I get a strong Oblong Tea scent even though this is a middle note it comes through clear and crisp to my nose. Lemon, Mandarin, Spearmint, and comforting Camomile mingles with Green Tea to create a relaxing blend of fresh brewed tea while Birchwood and Ambrette Seed add warmth and depth to the fragrance.

It’s a difficult scent to capture in words but for the most part it feels like a warm cuppa with a sprig of mint and a touch of lemon! Lavender lays a soft foundation as a back note but doesn’t come through as clearly as the main tea notes.

If you like relaxing, warm scents you’ll absolutely love this one.

I simply can’t get enough of it.

I just wish it was a tad stronger as it has a nice throw but the linger and dry down last about three hours at best before fading away….!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I haven’t been to a Con since Origins in 2000, & before that, Gen Con in ’96. I keep meaning to go to Comic Con in NYC, but I always forget about it & when I remember, I’m too broke to go. Still, it’s only a train ride away on Metro North, so maybe next year.

I’m hoping to go to Gallifrey One next year too!
Unfortunately the only time I’ve ever met Will Wheaton, I made such a fool of myself that I’m afraid to ever meet him again. *hangs head in shame*
