From Blah to Hooray with L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet

As you know from my prior post has a brand new Pivoine Flora Makeup Collection that released for Spring 2011. The collection is inspired by the graceful peony which dances like a ballerina in the Mediterranean breeze. The collection features a stunning color collection of luminous springtime hues with a formula that’s enriched with softening peony extract (in some cases the makeup even has the delightful aroma of the peony flower)!

I have a full review of the new L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet that will be pop later today but I wanted to do a quick post with a look I used to create it!

This is a super easy Spring look for day use that can be achieved with a few simple steps.

Jump!

I used the L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet for my eyes. The pale pink shade I used all over my lid and followed up with the truer pink shade on the outer v blended out and a little of the plum on my lower lash line. The two shades of pink contrast beautifully for a light, delicate day look without looking overly done.

I also used the L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Face Color Cream Duo in Rose Reverence on my cheeks. The pink shade was the perfect compliment to the pink of the shadows for a fresh, natural flush.

And finally on my lips I am wearing the L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Lipstick in Valse Fuchsia which has a gorgeous glossy finish and just the right tinge of fuchsia without looking overly done or clown-y!

It’s the perfect, light Spring look!

Review upcoming shortly!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
