L’Oreal Infallible Lipgloss Coral Reef Summer 2011 Review, Swatches, Photos

I kinda sorta have a love hate relationship with L’Oreal Infallible Lipgloss but I knew I needed to grab the limited edition Summer shade, Coral Reef, on the double as it reminded me so much of my all time favorite MAC Lipglass, Pink Grapefruit.

Take a peek!

I’m not going to bother you with a huge review on L’Oreal Infallible Lipgloss since I’ve babbled them in a prior review which you can find by clicking here.

I will however sing the praises of this new shade.

My passion is coral, peach, and various shades of orange for Spring and Coral Reef fits the bill perfectly.

The color is a fiery corally orange and looks a bit like Pink Grapefruit, not a complete dupe here but quite a nice shade if you missed out on MAC’s version by some chance or simply love it as much as I do!

The color was released with the L’Oreal Summer Siren Collection I recently showed you but it was missing from the display I first saw but on a recent trip to Walgreens I discovered the color. There is also a bright fuchsia shade that might be interest a few folks.

I kinda love Infallible Lipgloss and I kinda hate it. The color wraps lips in a nice, long wearing drench of color but it feels a tad uncomfortable to wear due to a strange silicone feel…I wish they could improve the formula as I think it would be a worthy gloss if they tweaked it a bit. But overall, I do generally like it.

Coral Reef was to good to pass up and a fine shade for Summer.

Well worth a pick up in my humblest particularly if you love Pink Grapefruit.

It’s available now, for a limited time, at drugstores.

Anyone grab it yet?

Do share!

THe last time I looked at these they didn’t seal the tube. It kind of weirded me out that someone could have tested it and put it back so I didn’t buy. The color is really pretty though.

People can be really gross without even realizing it. I watched a grown woman in the store one time take a tester lipstick and apply it directly to her lips! UGH! ew, spit, spat, yuk… Maybe I should have told her about the little boy with booger face that was playing with it before she got there?
BLECH… that said, I always look for sealed products.

majick sephora is a breeding ground for that behavior…even putting on mascara…OMG horrifying gross!

I have a makeup artist friend who laughs at me because I use spatulas in my own personal products. LOL SHe always says, “only you.” But I know she secretly admires my MO. 😉

This ad on the sidebar that talks to me is really irritating, I can’t get it to stop. It’s a youtube video type thing.

The lipgloss is really pretty though.
