MAC Surf Baby Lipglass Review, Swatches, Photos
As with the shadows from the MAC Surf Baby Collection I was sadly unmoved with the lipglasses.
Wow, I’m such a negative Nancy in regards to MAC Surf Baby so far, apologies, but I’m not really seeing anything here to get too crazy about.
Let’s peek!
I got two of the four lipglasses to try out. I’m still very interested in picking up Strange Potion for myself when the collection does officially release since it looks rather pretty.
The shades I tried were Good Lovin’ and Krazy Kahuna.
Krazy Kahuna proved surprisingly wearable. The shade is a warm brown and looks quite unappealing in the tube but it applies quite nicely with a high color pay off. I think it’ll work fab on its own or over a lippie of similar warmer color. I normally steer clear of brown glosses or lipsticks but this proved very wearable. Mind you, I’m not tripping myself to recommend it but if you’re partial to brown shades of lip products, you’ll easily enjoy this.
Good Lovin’ is a soft peachy pink that applies very nude on my lips. Very fair skinned girls will probably look lovely in this. On me sadly, it was a tad deathly. If you enjoy softer shades of pink/peach you’ll like it however it comes across a tad too nude for my tastes.
Overall, MAC Surf Baby is turning into a very disappointing collection for me so far…..
I’m looking forward to trying the rest and seeing what gems I find. I know for a fact I’m going to love the Surf, Baby! Cheek Powder, that’s a given right?
What do you think of these Lipglasses?
Will you be hauling them?
