Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss Bright Side Collection Review,Swatches, Photos
The Maybelline Bright Side Summer Collection 2011 includes several new shades and flavors of Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss. The shades are limited edition and available in flavors such as Lime! Nom!
I picked up two.
Take a peek!
I won’t bore you with any major review on these since I already reviewed in a prior post which you can find by clicking here.
Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss aren’t the best gloss in my makeup life but they are a fun little budget pick particularly if you like glossy, flavored lip products.
Most of the shades lack shine but Pineapple Paradise has a fair bit of sparkle to it. I actually didn’t think it tasted like pineapple too much but I have a bit of a cold so maybe it’s my taste buds. Either way, the flavor is candy-ish and fun! The color is a golden yellow with shimmer but it pretty much applies clear once blended out.
I also picked up Passion for Papaya which is equally yummier and truer in flavor to the its namesake. The color is peach but again it’s applies transparently with very little pigment.
The formula is a tad sticky doesn’t wear crazy long so re-application is a must plus the flavor might have you licking them off in no time.
I paid $3.99 each which isn’t too bad a deal. Sadly, the display had only one coupon which I used on the Brightside Palette I purchased but you might find a display that contains a few coupons so you can save a $1 on each of your purchases.
Overall, they prove a fun gloss particularly if you don’t have a slew of glosses in your stash or go through gloss rather quickly. Budget beauty girls will love the price and the tasty formula.
I have one too many lipglosses to really appreciate these but I think they make a fun Summer pick for shiny lips!
Although the range is permanent the flavors I featured here are limited edition.
