Philosophy Purity Made Simple Facial Cleansing Oil
Cleansing Oils in a Western market, the final frontier, these are the voyages of cleansing oil in the US….
Asian Cleansing Oils are plentiful. From drugstores to high end counters, from cheap as chips to expensive as bloody hell, you’ll find a cleansing oil to suit any taste in the Eastern market.
Sadly, the US market seems to be the final frontier when it comes to cleansing oils as we have a few but most are from mid to high end brands and it’s not the huge selection you’d see in Asia. Cleansing oils are still yet an unknown, unexplored cleansing option for most American women.
I still haven’t figured out why the hell that is.
Lucky enough, Philosophy does take on the vast unknown and comes out with new Purity Made Simple Facial Cleansing Oil.
At nearly 6 oz and $25 the new Philosophy Purity Made Simple Facial Cleansing Oil is a competitive size and price for Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil (5 oz at $29) however might I say Philosophy, the packaging, you’re doing it wrong!
I don’t see a pump here guys…I’m getting nervous now. If this has no pump as I suspect than we are in for a messy ride peeps. Origins makes a great Cleansing Oil but I quickly learned that it was a mess to use since I ordered it online and didn’t realize they actually sell a pump for it separate in store…yeah, totally not cool asking for more money for a pump, dude, for serious?!
Cleansing Oil, in my opinion, needs a pump of some sort as pouring it out just isn’t the most conventional, practical, or mess-free way of using a cleansing oil aka That’s so stupid yo!
Now that I got my frustrations out I will say I am curious how Philosophy will do cleansing oil!
They promise a deep-cleansing blend of natural oils that will melt away all traces of makeup, dirt, oil and impurities, while maintaining skin’s natural moisture levels with a formula that feels luxurious, emulsifies easily and rinses completely, leaving skin perfectly clean and soft.
I’m on it.
How about you?
