Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Finishing Powder

Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Finishing Powder is new variation of the Aqua Mineral Powder for Summer 2011.

This is a cooling translucent powder with coconut water that has a cool, hydrating finish. I liked Colorstay Aqua Powder but due to the lack of pigmentation I had mentioned in my review it was best suited as a finishing powder so I think it’s interesting they went ahead and introduced a product for that purpose.

It’s available now at drugstores.

Haha Revlon were clearly listening to your expert opinion Muse!

Is it just me or are others put off by the packaging? I expect that the brush will be of poor quality so if I got this powder I’d be throwing it away, but then the gigantic lid would be really annoying, It just isn’t sleek and pretty enough for my tastes so sorry Revlon but I’ll be passing on this…

*BOWS* thank you reme ;-D haha! no actually the brush is nice 😀 it’s actually really soft but I do worry b/c it gets wet due to the formula, so bacteria magnet ;-/ eep!

I actually bought the original formula and returned it the next day. It didn’t provide the coverage I needed and saw it working as a finishing powder as well. Funny that they came up with this product! I hope it’s not as glittery as the original formula.

julie I still have the original, I just use it as a finishing powder ;-D It just had no coverage at all so that was what it was best suited for ;D!

I love the whole cooling sensation aspect of the original but had to return it because of the shimmer in it. Do you think this finishing powder will have shimmer as well?
