Tarte PureOptic Lipgloss

Tarte PureOptic Lipgloss is now available at tartecosmetics.com.

The gloss was originally introduced as part of the Tarte 8th World Wonder Best of The Amazon Clay Collection in a Golden Pink shade but Tarte now introduced it in Love That Nude that looks like a nice shade of shimmering beige for Summer.

The gloss is multi-chromatic formula that features Tarte’s proprietary PureOptic complex which has 24 pure pigments blended together to achieve rich, vivid and long-wearing color that applies smoothly and won’t fade away.

I think it’s Tarte’s best gloss to date and I hope this means they’ll start expending the color selection come Fall 2011.

For now, I think Love That Nude is heading onto my wishy list! Don’t forget Maureen will be on QVC this weekend!

I agree with you that this is the best gloss that tarte has offered as of yet. I love that it is slightly minty, as opposed to the pomegranate scented gloss. It is ultra shiny and shimmery which I love in a gloss. It is thick enough to last a while, but not too thick that you cannot stop thinking about your lips sticking together when it is on. I love the gloss from the kit over glisten lip luster. It is the perfect combination for wearing with the kit.

I love watching qvc beauty shows, even if I do not plan to buy something (so hard not to). They are so informative about the products and application of makeup. I learn something new on every beauty show I watch. I cannot wait for the new Bobbi Brown tsv coming up. I am all over it, and I do not even know what is in it.

Hey Muse, maybe we’ll get a similar color in the second AD? I have a foundation question for you too.
I got the foundation in Medium but I’m wondering how dark the tan one is. Do you have any idea how much darker than the medium it is? THe medium one is fine for me right now but I think if I get any more color it may be too light. I was thinking of changing it before the next shipment. Thanks.

hey majick found it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope so!? Mmm I dunno sadly. did you see the swatches I posted from Tarte? I haven’t actually seen the other shades in person so not sure how darker/lighter they are!

ok, just thought I’d ask. Right now the Medium shade is perfect but if I get any more color and I usually do in the summer it may be too light. I will try to get an answer over on the Q. What a shame their beauty advisers don’t really know anything about the products. LOL
(I hate when you ask a question and you know they are reading from the description on the screen.)

That does help a bit. Now I think the Tan may be too dark. Of course there is always mixing – which I hate. LOL
Although the formula is a bit sheer so it may be forgiving. THanks for the pics.

nah but they are pretty. IN fact I’m wearing most of them today but with my new Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Flash. Yes you need at least one of these.
Flash is an olive brown glimmer and I also have Curacao which is a beautiful royal blue. I’m lemming the turquoise and bright green shades but at $22 a clip I think I’m fine for now. Too bad I didn’t know I loved them when the F&F was going on.
