Bobbi Brown Tortoise Shell Mini Brush Set Review, Photos

I wish I had the Bobbi Brown Tortoise Shell Mini Brush Set while I was on vacation as it would have saved me the trouble of lugging around a buncha huge MAC brushes…eh, who am I kidding? I’d have still lugged around full size brushes.

But hey, if you’re a traveling and you like to do it the lightweight, low calorie way, this little set could be your ticket to minimal beauty tool toting!

Check it!

The set includes:

  • Mini Angle Eyeshadow Brush
  • Mini Eye Sweep Brush
  • Mini Blush Brush
  • Mini Ultrafine Eyeliner

Four brushes at $55 bucks isn’t entirely cheap but the smaller size and the fact that Bobbi’s mini tools do rock it could change your mind from a nay to a yay!

I always find that Bobbi’s mini brushes do live up to the larger sizes. They are soft, have no shedding issues, and are a very quality line of brushes.

In this case they provide you with essentials for a quick eye and face look!

I personally liked the smaller, slim line case they come housed in as it makes it a snap to travel with.

Only thing I would have changed would be a more prominent Tortoise Shell design on the handles to match the collection theme and name.

What do you think?

Are you hauling the set?

It’s available now at Bobbi Brown counters, www.Nordstrom.com, and shortly at www.bobbibrown.com

Ahhh, I’m having such an internal debate about this set! On the one hand I love the slim line, and those are def. the 4 brushes I couldn’t live without when I travel. On the other, the gold turns me off and I would’ve liked the tortoise shell to be a bit more pronounced, like you said…

How much color does the eye sweep brush pick up? Oh & welcome back :-)! I missed your posts everyday :P.

hey christine thank ya girl ;-D good to be home! and be missed, I missed you guys back ;-D

I def wish the print was different, it’s brown and gold…I’d have dug a tortoise shell handle…! eye sweep mmm picks up a good deal of product you might need a double dip to do an entire eye…I find it works great in the crease and outer contour/v.

Oh, looks lovely. The only thing is I would prefer a second brush for eyeshadow as well, as I usually use a couple of shades.

I’m going to pass since I just bought a bunch of the Sephora Professionnel Platinum brushes.
