EOS Lip Balm Summer Pack Passion Fruit Strawberry Sorbet Review

EOS Lip Balm Summer Pack Passion Fruit Strawberry Sorbet 1

A long, long time ago I can still remember…

Wait, sorry, I was totally having a Don McLean moment there.

But really it was a long time ago…..back in the Fall of 2007, Lancome introduced the Mystery Game Collection which included an innovative lip balm called Baume Baiser. It was pretty much love at first application!

It’s long gone sadly but at least I have EOS Refreshing Lip Balms to keep my lips happy plus you know they are so much cheaper than Baume Baiser ever was!

Check it!

For Summer, EOS has a limited edition pack of their Refreshing Lip Balms in two new flavors, Strawberry Sorbet and Passion Fruit. The pack contains both of these balms and is $5.99.

You can snag it at Walmart, Target.com, and it should be available shortly on EOS’ website at evolutionofsmooth.com.

These are the perfect little budget pick for tucking into your travel bag, makeup bag, or desk drawer this Summer when your lips are in need of a little tender, loving, care.

I think the best part about the balms are they are petrolatum, paraben and gluten-free but still sport a hydrating mix of shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E to keep lips smooth and gently hydrated.

Ok, I lied, the best part about these are the packaging!

Each balm is shaped like a small little sphere or ball and it twists open to reveal a half circle, domed lip balm that you can slick on easily. I love the design! It’s innovative, unique, and and it fits the contour of my lips so brilliantly.

The formula is a traditional balm that has a tasty, subtle fruity flavor, in this case either Strawberry or Passion Fruit. These aren’t waxy or uncomfortable…they have a lightweight, smooth formula that hydrates lips subtly.

These are my fave lip balms! I have like 4 of them in my purse, at my desk and around the house. At one point I was missing all of them, I think because they look like balls, I suspect my baby takes them and throws them somewhere!

This took me ages to find, and when I did it was the last one…at least I found SOMETHING. Still no luck with the WnW thing. I feel bad because I FINALLY got the UD Naked palette last night at Macy*s and I still want the WnW trio so bad haha. I think it’s more that I can’t find it that’s making me want it even more.

Anyways back to the balms, these are great for my desk at work but they don’t really keep my lips hydrated long enough for use elsewhere. At my desk I can reapply as I want though so it’s fine, and I like that they are pretty thin since I mostly use tube balms they are much thicker. Anyways I like these ones but I don’t think I am going to be collecting EOS balms. My lips are just too dry for them.

Also I saw on Twitter that you spoiled yourself about River. I feel your pain, did the same thing :(. And I am still just on S5!

Aw I’m sorry Tammie :( I hope you find it too! I like these for travel and my desk drawer ;-D good for Summer but def can relate, my lips need more hydration in the winter, I get so DRY and cracked!

ugh..I read combom’s post and he totes spoiled it for me.

Thanks…I hope to some day find it haha. Even though obviously my daily go-to will be my Naked palette (if I don’t use it often I will kick myself! It’s the most pricey single item I’ve gotten for a long time, regardless of it being a great deal).

My lips are ALWAYS flaky it’s terrible. But the EOS ones are great in a pinch, or when my lips taste icky for some reason lol.

I spoiled myself via Tumblr :(

I don’t know which I love more, Rosebud Salve or EOS lip balm. This is definitely a must have for me. Love the cute pink and purple colors too.

No SPF? I have lemon drop with SPF 15. I think they are sooo cute because they look like hardboiled eggs. Especially these are easter egg colors! And I SO remember the balm baisers! Too pricey for me back then : x

I love EOS lip balms! my favorite is the yellow one, Lemonade. I usually buy them for the taste, not if they work… I keep them in my pencil case for school so when my lips are chapped i just take it out and use it. I dont particularily like a lot of them… but i really love Lemonade. I really want to try these new ones out! I hope they taste good! (:

If you live in Vancouver, London Drugs sells Strawberry Sorbet. Now I’ll have to but more to complete my collection. -_-

I picked up an orange one at Walgreens quite a while ago because the packaging caught my eye – not like I needed anymore lip products, but I’m a sucker. Anyway, I could not get past the smell – I HATED it. Overall, it didn’t seem to feel too bad on my lips, but the smell – yuck! Maybe I’ll have to try other flavors and see if it can win me back :)

I had the lemon drop one and used it completely up! I got my friends hooked on these as well…now I have the medicated tangerine. I have gotten addicted to these, and I love that they’re organic. I haven’t seen this new limited edition set in stores, but I will definitely try to find it. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for nice tinted lip balms, preferably cheap or from the drugstore. Thanks <3
