Korres has extended its popular Quercetin & Oak Collection by adding a new concealer to the line up! This little guy promises long lasting, crease-free coverage to conceal dark circles while reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Hyaluronic acid is added into the mix for an emollient formula that moisturizers dry skin and keeps it hydrated.

A concealer with anti-aging benefits.

I’ve been using this a few weeks so I can’t really say if it’s treating the finer lines under my eyes as only time will tell if it actually works however, I do like the idea of a concealer that not only conceals my under eye woe but also treats it.

After viewing the shades available I settled on light which is a natural shade of beige with a bit of orange to it. I normally avoid orange undertones in my concealer as it tends to age my eyes but this actually ended up working very well at concealing darker circles. The formula is a thinner consistency with an emollient texture that blends out easily and has sheer to medium coverage which can be built for better coverage. I find the formula easy to work as it glides on easily with minimal effort on my part and blends in simply without alot of tugging or fanfare involved. I have drier eyes and I had no issues getting this into place for a nice flawless finish. As it’s Summer I like the thinner consistency of this as it’s not a creamy concealer or a heavier, richer one.

It does have a few minor quirks…

It wears quite well and you can get through the day without it fading however it does crease a tad bit into my finer lines within 2 to 3 hours of a wear. A little sweep of my finger gets things back in shape but it does deserve a mention that it creases an ickle bit particularly if you have finer lines and wrinkles under your eyes.

It’s only available in four shades although the shades should fit most.

• Those who like concealers with an orange base for concealing darkness (most of the shades have orange-y undertones which is a good base for concealing darkness).
• Those looking for a thin yet emollient concealer that smooths on and blends out easily under drier eyes.
• Those who already like and use Quercetin & Oak line already and have had good success with it.
• Those who want a concealer that has concealing and anti-aging benefits.

• Those who want a long wearing, crease-free formula (I didn’t have issues with fading but I did experience some creasing within 2 to 3 hours of wear).
• Those who want a thicker, creamier concealer (this is a thin formula).

I don’t think Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing & Antiwrinkle Concealer will change my concealing world but it does prove a very nice little concealer overall and is particularly novel thanks to the benefit of anti-aging ingredients so not only does it conceal but also treats finer lines and prevents new ones from forming. I liked the formula well enough but was an ickle put off by the creasing problem as I’m used to my concealer sticking around without moving, fading, or making a comfy home in my fine lines. The formula defintely should appeal to those who like a thinner formula that’s firm but emollient and moisturizing for drier under eyes.

It’s worth a try as it is gaining a loyal fan base and a high review rating overall particularly due to it’s more natural take on ingredients and lack of parabens.

I liked it alot but I didn’t love it.
