Beauty Story Sheet Masks supposedly contain diamond particles…seriously, people, WTH does that even mean? Diamond particles. Oh stop now!
Diamond promises aside, it does contain a heap load of Royal Jelly Extract so I feel like Queen B when I wear it.

Royal Jelly is derived from the secretions of male worker bees! That’s right bish, gather my honey! Crack the whip! It’s made up of amino acids (among other things, secretions? please child, let’s hope that isn’t what I think it is) and a ton of vitamins and minerals. Some brands harvest it because it’s a great natural skin care ingredient but I just like it because it moisturizers skin all crazy like and improves the general appearance and texture of it! I won’t get into all its great benefits but needless to say Royal Jelly is a rocking ingredient to include in a sheet mask!
Let’s take a peek at Beauty Story Diamond Royal Jelly Revitalizing Sheet Masks!

Although I was already a Stila fan girl at the time of it’s release I still have flashbacks of my intro to Stila whenever I smell Creme Bouquet. At the time of the Stila Creme Bouquet Fragrance release I was still a bit of a Stila virgin. I think my first collection from the brand was the Picnic in the Park one….does anyone remember that release? CLICK!
About two years later or perhaps a bit more Creme Bouquet was released along with Jade Blossom. And, please, correct me if I’m wrong wasn’t there a third fragrance as well? The trio, as I recall, was meant to be layered together to create different blends and that was actually how it was marketed. Needless to say I loved these fragrances and was ever so happy when Stila recently brought back to full size of Creme Bouquet but I stand by my right to say it’s a damn shame they didn’t bring back the other two.

Unbeknownst to me, Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Shadow Pot have been hiding on QVC for a while now. Dude, how did I not know about these?

I’m off my game I guess.
Recently, a few new shades were introduced for Summer and that’s how I learned about these little guys. Each one comes with it’s own brush and is $23.
The formula is made with micronized Amazonian clay which intensifies color pigments all whole working to nourish the skin and reduce surface oil. Sounded like an idea solution for oily skin if it helps reduce surface oil eh? It’s also free from parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, and other nasties! The shadows promise to create a layer of product that basically wears well through sweat and tears without creasing for hours of wear time.
Let’s see how they perform!

The next Stila Beach Girl Palette is available!
Stila Striking in South Beach is all about Zoe and her trip to the beach! This palette concentrates on blues so I’m not sure if I’ll love it but my obsessive compulsive beauty disease demands I buy it so I have a complete set of the Beach Girl Palettes!
The palette is $14 and includes:
Four Eye Shadows:
- Ocean Drive
- Wave
- Nightlife
- Cabana
Cheek Color:
Highlighter/Bronzer:
The palette also features a mirror and a face chart. The palettes are $4 more this year compared to last year’s Travel Girl Palettes at $10 but you are getting more product here plus the extra packaging details (mirror and face chart). So far, my experience with the new palettes has been a yay!

I’ve been a virtual auntie to baby Lucy, born to my dear reader Dina a few months ago! Eep and I still haven’t seen her yet in person! Promise D, we meet up for din and shopping real soon or maybe we should just wait a few years for Lucy to develop into a beauty junkie like us!? Naaa knowing you she is already at that point of her life already! Gotta start ‘em young!
Needless to say, new and old mum’s are as passionate about good beauty as the rest of us plus I imagine those with daughters are ever so eager to introduce them to the dark side aka the beauty junkie lifestyle.
Yup the moral of the story is start ‘em young and why not start them with a best loved brand like Philosophy?
Philosophy Baby is a selection of natural bath and body goodies for newly born babes and their mum’s to enjoy!
