Take a look!
What you actual get in the set is:

Although not listed on QVC’s page the deluxe size bronzer powder and sample of Marcuja Oil will be included in the first shipment of your set but not in future deliveries if you you go with the AD option. The oil has a small dropper and is 7ml in size where as the bronzer is 0.11 oz. I just wanted to let you know that indeed, you will get both of these items with your order. The bronzer is a traditional muddy golden shade of brown with a matte finish.
Again, Tarte, as with the World Wonder set, took alot of pains to create a very good value here.
Here’s a break down of pricing.
- Maracuja Creaseless Concealer Full Size $24.50
- SmolderEYES Waterproof Eyeliner Full Size $22
- Lip Luster Full Size $24
- Waterproof Cream Shadow Pot Full Size $22
- Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara in Black Full Size $19
- 12 Hour Wear Clay Blush in Peaceful Full Size $25
- Shadow Brush and Tarte Blush Brush Full Sizes $27
Total: $180.50
Items I didn’t include in the final cost:
- Sharpener
- Bronzer
- Maracuja Oil
- Makeup Bag
Although very nice quality, I’m not sure I’d dub the brushes at a $27 price tag however regardless you’re seeing the overall value here.
Another concern was about the new Peaceful blush shade included in the kit. I know many of you were fearful that it was the same as the Glisten color included in the World Wonder Set. I’d like to clarify they are two very different shades. I actually like Glisten more for the record but Peaceful is lovely as well.
Peaceful is a warmer shade of peach. I find it’s a true peach shade and doesn’t have alot of pink to it where as Glisten has a more peachy-pink NARS Orgasm going on. Glisten has considerably more pink in the color than Peaceful does. I thought Peaceful was a semi-matte finish but it does have a bit of barely there sparkle versus Glisten which has a good deal of golden shimmer.
The two shades are nothing alike. So if you already own Glisten, rest assured that Peaceful is an entirely other shade. The 12 Hour Blushes have a great wear time and you can get a full day of color from them. They are pigmented, blend easily, and leave behind a lovely pop of color. They are Tarte’s first true powder blush and quite well done in my opinion!
Another item in the set that I fell in love with was the LipSurgence Natural Lip Luster in Sweet. If you already own Glisten Blush you’ll love this shade as it’s along a similar peachy, pink vein. The LipSurgence Lip Luster’s have a tasty peppermint taste, a medium color pay off, and a moisturizing formula.
For your eyes they have included both a Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow and a Waterproof Eyeliner. I thought the two items mismatched in color as the cream shadow is a Shimmering Taupe and the liner is a plummy aubergine. I’m looking forward to Tivo’ing the presentation on QVC to see how Maureen uses the liner. This is my first try with the liner and I liked it alot. It has a decent wear time on my waterline and I experience no problems with fading or smudging. I used it as an all over color shadow as well and it worked a treat. I’ve already reviewed the Cream Eyeshadows which I really liked, you can see that review by clicking here. I’ve also reviewed Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara in a prior post as well which you can see by clicking here.
The two brushes included are very nice. I’m actually grown partial to the blush one and have been using it daily. The brushes are soft and have no shedding problems. The shadow brush is a nice dense tip so it works great with the cream shadow pot.
Now the star of the kit is the Maracuja Creaseless Concealer. I’ve shared some swatches photos here but expect a review of it in another post as it does deserve a review all its own and needs a bit more testing on my end. I don’t know how these compare to the foundation shades as I only have medium in the foundation. I’ll get into more details though in my review!
Overall, Tarte has released another fabulous QVC Special Value. It’s a steal, a deal, and personally I think you NEED it!
Very Muse Approved for purchase.
