About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m wondering if these are different than the Elf products already available? For example I know that you can get a blush bronzer duo normally any word on if these are the same shade?

  • Claudia

Excited by the cream shadows and pigment eyeshadows. Have been wanting to get some cream shadows online but fail to follow through on ordering. Doesn’t that happen to all of us?

  • Lilly

oh no! werent the elf blotting sheets a dollar? I sure hope elf isn’t trying to pull a fast one.

    • Sarah

Yeah! I just bought these fairly recently for a dollar and surprisingly really liked them. This pack better be three times in size to justify the price, otherwise it feels like we’re being ripped off!

      • Alicia

If these are the blotting sheets I saw with the new sets at my Target last night, it is actually a set with three packs of blotting sheets. Each pack in the set was different. I don’t remember for sure, but I think one had green tea, one had tea tree oil, and the other had aloe.

  • Jessica

Not all of these products new, or are they just new to Target?

  • Nora

I’m super excited for this and it’s only a few days away! If the blush/bronzer duo is close to the quality of their Studio version, that’ll be a big hit in my book. And the shimmer, pigment, and cream shadow palettes assuredly have my attention. Any pictures, Miss Lovey Muse?

    • the Muse

sorry Nora no pics yet 🙁 but will update when I have ;D!

  • Regina

What happened to the $1 blotting papers?!! These better be bigger and badder for $3

  • Marie

Ah! Do you know how long these will be in Target stores? I won’t be able to get to a Target until August! 🙁

    • the Muse

hey marie believe they will be staples of the collection hun so prob well into the months ahead ;D!

  • Claudia

Wait are these products studio line or just their essentials line?

      • Claudia

Hmmm interesting. Can’t wait to hear what you think about the quality.

  • Telly9009

I would love to try the cream eyeshadow, pigments, and blush and bronzer palette. I love ELF!

  • Kelsey

My target had an end cap of elf products when I went there today that displayed the usual $5-10 palettes along with other packaged products. I saw a package of blotting sheets that housed three different types of them. They might have been 3-5 dollars, can’t remember! Dunno if it was part of this collection, but I saw the packs of three! (there were also lip gloss trios, etc)

As for what I’d be interested in from this collection, I’d say the cream shadows and the blush/bronzers sound pretty neat. I’ll have to keep my eye out for them. Thanks for the info, muse! 🙂

  • Tammie

Do you know if these will just be in the ELF sections or on the end area? I’m interested in the lip balms.

  • Caroline

I can’t believe some of these products are already available in europe! usually we’ll have to wait for 6 months after new products are released in the US…

      • Caroline

certainly! but oh, i see now that the cream eyeshadow palette are available on the us site as well….

but still, quite odd that they are released over seas at the same time 🙂

  • Nora

Muse, Muse, Muse! I just tried out the $3 eyelid primer collection with this fall release. YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM. They outdo my UDPP!!! I have oily lids and am allergic to vitamin E, thus ruling out most products. However! These are making my shadow last LONGER than Urban Decay’s, which is great since I was going to need a new one soon. The only downside I see is that 2 of the 3 shades have some glitter, but it’s not terribly noticeable. Love it!

    • the Muse

hey nora I tried the original eye primer but I didn’t like it 🙁 I’ll have to check this trio out maybe there is something in it I’ll like ;-D!
