Face Q Red Pomegranate + CoQ10 Facial Sheet Mask Review
Face Q makes a range of full facial sheet masks that wrap around your neck that I am really enjoying. However, I am finding that their normal range is a very frustrating as I keep experiencing tears when I use them!
Recently, I popped open a box of Face Q Red Pomegranate + CoQ10 Sheet Masks and really enjoyed them but the tearing around the nose area happened yet again!
Grrr!
Here’s a few thoughts about them!
If you’ve never used an Asian Facial Sheet Mask they are simply a mask made of thinner fiber material soaked in essence. The mask has a cut out for your mouth and eyes and you leave it on for 20-30 minutes. The masks hydrate your face and have any number of ingredients, depending on which ones you buy, that help retain moisture, brighten skin, ease redness, whiten skin, etc….there are ALL sorts of formulas for all sorts of skin issues.
Face Q’s target audience is one much younger than myself but I really like them regardless.
The Red Pomegranate + CoQ10 Mask aids in re-hydrating skin and whitening it. Each box comes with ten individually wrapped masks.
Red Pomegranate Extract, Chamomile ET, and CoQ10 act as a whitening agent to revitalize dull skin. The mask is is moisturizing but not nearly as much as some of my other sheet masks. It makes my skin smooth and does indeed ease dullness but I did not see whiter skin with use but more of a brightening effect that eased dullness and fatigue. Like most Face Q masks I’ve tried I find this leaves my skin a bit tacky and sticky after use but a little moisturizer after use helps this issue.
I actually liked this formulation alot as it did ease dullness which is something I suffer from however as mentioned above I find it irritating that the masks tear the longer you wear them around the nose area. The thinner fiber material allows the essence to soak easily into your skin but it is frustrating that the thin material tears easily!
A box of ten is easy enough to find online on E-bay and other shops for around $15 or so which is quite above retail but still by US standards for ten masks not too bad.
If you suffer from dull, tired skin, I recommend checking these out!
