Lorac Ooh La Lace Baked Shimmer & Matte Eye Shadow Palette for Fall 2011

I love you Lorac but did you take your Baked Matte Satin Eye Shadow, depot them, and stick them in your Ooh La Lace Baked Shimmer & Matte Eye Shadow Palette.

For shame.

Cheeky little monkeys!

The Lorac Ooh La Lace Baked Shimmer & Matte Eye Shadow Palette is quite lovely but I think I’m ready to toss in the hat on this guy as I’m solid gold covered with TANtalEyes Palette and the Little Black Palette.

I have super great love for Lorac but this is too close to items we’ve already seen. I was hoping for something brilliantly new from them for Fall 2011.

But hey if you never tried Lorac or don’t already own the palettes I mentioned this one includes six shades of shadow in:

  • Lust (cream with shimmer)
  • Smolder (matte gray)
  • Risqué (matte black)
  • Stunner (light bronze with shimmer)
  • Knockout (bronze with shimmer)
  • Racy (matte brown)

If you wanna just call it cheap try hauling the Lorac Baked Matte Shadows on their own for a mere $2 bucks from Lorac’s Website versus $36 for this palette!

Whatcha think?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. As far as colors go I feel like I have multiples of all of these because at least one of these shades are basically in every palette that’s ever existed, but I am such a sucker for all things lace. I do not need something just because it has cute packaging, do not need, do not need. I’m just gonna keep repeating that to myself :-).

I bought those $2 shadows but I paid $4 on HauteLook. They are great shadows. I’m thankful that I won’t have to pick this up.
I will say that LORAC shadows are fantastic. THey are finely milled and blend well. Most of the colors do not accentuate crepey eyelids.

Well I’d pick the Sephora palette over this one, that’s for sure
