Revlon Sweetly Seductive Flavor Gloss Review, Swatches, Photos
As you know from my prior post Revlon has a new limited edition collection of fruity scented nail polishes and lipglosses. I picked up two of the new Revlon Flavor Glosses, ugh, I know, I have plenty of lipgloss already….
But I couldn’t resist. Don’t hold it against me k? I actually wanted to haul more after realizing how cheap they were, $3.59! But I refrained and I was a good makeup junkie.
You might want to start haunting your local drugstore as I thought these were a rather cute catch for Summer.
Check ’em!
A limited edition collection of flavored lipglosses!
It’s safe to say that if you love flavored glosses you’ll want to snag these.
There are several flavor choices in the gloss and I ended up picking up Orange Fizz and Watermelon Fizz. Orange Fizz is a shimmering orange shade that has a tasty orange soda flavor. This color pretty much applies clear with a subtle kiss of shimmer. Watermelon Fizz is a sweet, fruity watermelon flavor that adds a nice pop of reddish pink to lips. This shade yields considerably better color pay off than Orange Fizz did.
Each of the tubes have a cute little fruit slice towards the top of the gloss and sport a slanted plastic applicator for application. The formula is a thicker, tacky gloss that wears comfortably without being too over the top sticky. They have a good glide and wear well on their own or on top of stains or lipsticks however the wear time is shortened a bit when worn solo (about two hours of wear at best before disappearing).
The novelty of the product is definitely the flavor and the fun packaging plus just the idea of a quickie Summer gloss to carry around in your makeup bag.
Nothing bad here unless you count the shorter wear time.
- Anyone who likes flavored lipgloss!
- Anyone looking for a budget lipgloss pick for Summer.
- Those wanting a long wearing lipgloss with rich color pay off.
- Those who are sensitive or aren’t keen on flavored lip products.
If you have alot of gloss already you probably don’t need them but if you’re on the hunt for a cute lipgloss that’s packed with flavor, a decent formula, and a good price tag, well, these are a perfect little pick!
I personally liked them alot but as any good beauty junkie I question whether I really need another lipgloss! Outside of that they are cute, inexpensive, and just plain fun particularly for Revlon who really doesn’t normally embrace the “fun” or “cute” side of beauty.
Anyone see or haul these?
