Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette In The Nude

Even though I can probably dupe every single shade of the Sephora MoonShadow Baked Palette ($28) I can’t help but yearn for it to become apart of my collection.

It’s rather stunning.

Jump!

This palette features a range of ten of Sephora’s Baked Eyeshadows in nude colors with a sparkly finish! The palette looks MASSIVE doesn’t it? The shadow formula contains diamond dust-like shimmer so they are promise a healthy dose of sparkle in the mix.

I dunno if it’s the Fall colors or simply the presentation but this palette is calling my name even though I can probably dupe these shades from MAC Mineralize Shadows I already own and from some of my Lorac Palettes.

What do you think?

Haul it now?

Wait for a sale?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow — that is really pretty! Are you trying to make me spend my whole paycheck, Muse? LOL!

    • the Muse

but of course…I have to spend someone’s money might as well be yours ;-D!

  • kiwikiwidragon

OMG!! I don not need to spend more money, wait yes I do!! So many choices!!

  • Lexi

I think the Muse needs to get this one from sephora PR and swatch like there’s no tomorrow

    • the Muse

ha I wish Lexi! PR is stingy as hell ;-D! I think imma buy it girl, it looks gorg!

  • Andrea

It’s already in my cart…I’m just exercising some impulse control for a few days before I pull the trigger. It’s so not like me to wait, but I’m trying to get better….I’m also waiting for some BI perks that interest me.

do you think if i have the urban decay naked palette that this one is unnecessary?

    • the Muse

not sure peacelove as I haven’t tried this or seen it in person hard to compare having not used it or seen it :-/

      • PeaceLovePanic

when you get it (because i know you will lol) would you mind comparing the colors to the UD naked palette?! You would be my most favorite person ever if you did!!!!

    • skarvika

I think Urban Decay’s NAKED Palette is actually much better than this. Naked has a better selection and nicer textures.

  • Isis

I don’t know if I can get that but I’m going to try. I need it!

I’m not usually a fan of sephora palettes, or of baked shadows, but this one is so pretty! And I love the lace pattern on the outside… the whole thing is very similar to LORAC’s Ooh La Lace palette.

  • Maria

So that means since I don’t have any of the MAC mineralize eye shadows that I should probably get this one. Right? RIGHT? LOL The excuses I make just to get more make up. ^_^

This is really pretty….I wanna wait till I can play with it though before buying…The price tag seems decent, hope it stays reasonable for Canada as well

  • Majick

The diamond dust scares me. Since I have the Naked palette and the True Blood, and loads of LORAC I think I will be safe passing on this. (whew…swipes brow.)

Oh NO!! I need a makeup intervention and it better happen before I get these into my hot little hands at Sephora. I’m a sick, sick chick.

I’ve been thinking about purchasing the Lorac Little Black Palette for the LONGEST time, but haven’t, not only because of the price but because it’s not limited edition, so I don’t feel that buying it is the most pressing matter I’m faced when there are all sorts of limited-time palettes and sales offered at Sephora. In your opinion, (or anyone on here who has both palettes), does this Sephora palette completely obviate the need for the Lorac palette? I’d like to know if there are exact dupes in this palette for each of the shades in the Lorac, so I will definitely be watching for your post with these colors swatched! 🙂 (If you could swatch the Lorac ones too I would be mighty grateful – unless you already have, which I’ll look for on here!) I do want to buy them both, but if I buy the Lorac and then this or vice versa, I have to admit I’ll be disappointed spending $61 for a few repeats. :-/ For five dollars less than the Lorac palette, you get SIX more shadows! That’s unbeatable, and I can’t pass that up. And each shadow in here averages at $2.80, not counting the cute little box they come in! GAH I’m so excited for this one! I was thinking about buying the Sephora Colorista Palette at $19, but the shadows don’t look creamy and look kind of blah (correct me if I’m wrong, whoever owns it and has an opinion!). I may just forget about that one and go straight for the gold! — in this palette 😀

Ooo I like this. I have yet to own some baked eyeshadows. This sounds like a good place to start.

This is so nice, Muse! I hope you haul it when on sale! I am very pleased with it as a purchase and happy to had picked it instead of lorac’s fall palette bc there are more colors and it was a lot less expensive than lorac’s. For the shades I have used already, I have found the shimmer really nice but not overly frosty which is great, imho! 🙂 and the pigmentation/color payoff is pretty decent! 😀
