100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Blush Review, Swatches, Photos

Ok, speaking as a packaging h0r here I absolutely love 100% Pure’s packaging for their blushes.

Gush!

These come in pink metallic tin with a floral engraving…So very gorgeous peeps! I love ’em!

But guess what?

What’s inside is equally as gorgeous as what’s outside.

Jump!

A blush that is colored with antioxidant and vitamin rich fruit pigments instead of minerals or synthetic dyes.

The appeal of 100% Pure Cosmetics would be the fact they are an organic range of cosmetics made from good for your ingredients and lacking in harmful ingredients such as parabens…but dare I be shallow and say the packaging really makes me happy too?

These cute blushes come in a metallic pink engraved compact with a full size mirror in the lid. The packaging is truly gorgeous and should appeal to those who really love good attention to detail when it comes to their makeup packaging. The only thing missing from the blushes would be a nice brush of some sort but hey, we can’t have it all.

In some cases or most if I am honest, I find organic or greener color cosmetics sadly lacking in pigment plus the formula isn’t all that fabulous. 100% Pure forsakes very little formula wise and you’re getting a rich cosmetic experience all around.

The blushes are quite nicely pigmented and can be worn sheer or built up to a very nice intensity for more of a color pay off. They have a smooth, silky formula that blends easily and leaves behind a natural, healthy flush of color. I own two shades which are Chiffon a pale pink and Strawberry which is a mauve-y berry shade both of which pack great pigmentation.

Nothing bad here!

  • Those who find packaging as well as the actual cosmetic an important buy factor.
  • Those looking for an organic color cosmetic formula that lacks parabens and other harmful ingredients.
  • Those interested in a color blush that can be worn sheer or built up for a nicer pop of color.
  • Those who want a pigmented blush that never looks garish but always very natural and healthy.

  • Those unwilling to pay $25 for blush (if you’re more of a drugstore blush girl you may find the price point a little too high).

As I mentioned above I find 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Blush quite a nice little organic blush that never forsakes quality for it’s greener, healthier formula. The product performs fantastically and blends out easily while the silky texture of the blush feels lightweight and smooth on cheeks. The pigmentation of the product is a surprise too as it packs quite a nice punch but never looks too overly done even when using a heavier hand I still find the colors just come across naturally for a healthier flush.

And of course, need I mention the packaging again!

Love!

Well worth a haul for those who are extra careful about their ingredients in their cosmetics as for the rest of us, we can enjoy the great formula and fabulous packaging!

I feel you on being a packaging whore! I’m a sucker for metal cases, compacts, and palettes. Sooo pretty. Nice to know it is actually a decent product too. Where can a person find 100% Pure cosmetics in a brick and mortar store anyway? B&BW used to carry their lotions…..

Wow, I haven’t heard of this brand before… unless you mentioned them and I managed to forget 😛 This is hardcore-WANT-worthy!

I love 100% Pure skin care products for body, but I have never tried their make up before. If you say it’s good, then I must get some 😀

Whoa….. that compact is a thing of beauty! Daannnnnnngggggggggggg…….I wonder if QVC has these…. May have to scope them out!

I too is a hoor for lovley packaging – and that’s a gorgeous compact….. Argh…. well, I already know that resistance is futile, so off I go to look! 😀

Chiffon looks perfect for me! It seems kind of like a dupe for Dandelion (my HG), except it’s perhaps a bit more intense… thoughts?

Another MAJOR bonus to this product line is that it’s animal cruelty-free. It can be hard to find a great product that also has a conscious towards both the consumer, the earth, and its animals.

Hey is Chiffon shimmery? Have you tried Raspberry? Thanks!

    • the Muse

hi cinnamon I only have the two I feared, both have a velvety finish no shimmer.

  • Silvia

I recently received Raspberry color from Besame I had never tried them before oh! and the lipgloss. (Someone knows well I love makeup!) Reminded me of this in the beautiful packaging. How can a make up loving girl resist? I really love the design is round and antique red looking cover. Color went in beautifully!
