Bath & Body Works Paris Amour Liplicious Lipgloss Gift Set Review, Photos

At some point in your makeup life you’ll decide that you simply have too much lipgloss. Over 10 years into my makeup life and that still hasn’t happened, the Nile (denial) isn’t just a river in Egypt.

Everytime Bath & Body Works decides to release some new Liplicious Collection that’s destined to suck the money from my very bank account, I step back, look away, and tell myself I do not need to go there.

Obviously, I’m not listening to my own very wise advice particularly in the case of the stupid cute Bath & Body Works Paris Amour Liplicious Lipgloss Set.

Why!!!!!??

Jump!

Ugh I hate myself but I had 20% off does that justify the purchase? Probably not…!

This little set includes five Liplicious Lipglosses inspired by your favorite French desserts, pastries, and other decadent treats. I’m a little possessive of the set at the moment since the glosses are mini size thus I didn’t swatch but if I change my mind I’ll go ahead and update this post with those swatches.

You get:

  • Wicked Creme Brulee (shimmering lavender)
  • Paris Amour (shimmering pastes, tastes like vanilla, caramel, has a cookie/pastry-like taste and fragrance!)
  • Rich Toffee Truffle (golden beige shimmer)
  • Sinful Apple Crepe (pale milky pink)
  • Guilty Peach Tart (golden peach shade)

I’m absolutely in lust with this set at the moment and hope Bath & Body Works will do more when the Charmed Life Fragrance launches earlier this September.

Paris Amour wasn’t a great fragrance for me but I love how they did the Parisian theme and added fun offerings like this gloss set and several pastry inspired candles along with the collection. Personally, I thought they had the potential to market it even further with perhaps a tote of some sort and other accessories but I’ll take what I can get.

This set is $16.50 and is available now in stores.

Very Muse Approved for purchased.

Got it already?

Loving it?

Do share!

P.S. Paris Amour Liplicious Lipgloss is sold in full size for the normal $8 price tag.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. • the Muse

ouch! I had a coupon 20% off but still felt it was an ickle high due to the smaller sizes :-/

  • kiwikiwidragon

Personally, I like the sets that Philosophy does of around Xmas. I have a thing with those…not too bad tho, I have been able to resist a few. But I have totally blown my makeup diet for August. I bought two bb cream samplers from Imomoko and a cover up thing. I also bought the new moonshadow palette from Sephora and a Buxom gloss set that was only $15 bucks for 7 glosses! It’s a disease….

    • the Muse

oh yeah love those sets too kiwi ;-D I gotta get the moonshadow palette haven’t indulged yet ;-D!

  • Stacey
