About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. $45? That must surely be a typographyical error, because I can’t imagine LIP FOAM to cost that rid-ic-u-lous amount. For $20 I would have tried it. Criminy, did they confuse their Bliss line with their Remede line?

  • Courtney

Yeah, not really into the lip cleanser. Lip scrubs yes, but cleanser? I feel like my facewash does this. Maybe if you wear a lot of lipstick but I’m more of a balm girl most of the time.

    • the Muse

maybe for long wearing lipstick Courtney? but I don’t wear anything that long wearing ;D! but the foam kills me ;-D I freaking love anything that foams!

  • Tammie

I want it but $45 is a deal breaker :(. My lips need all the help they can get but I am just not willing to spend that much!

      • Tammie

I don’t think I qualify…I’ve actually never broken up with anybody ^^;;. My husband is my first boyfriend too hehe :3

          • Tammie

            Hehe 🙂

It’s ok, I don’t really know much about my friends’ breakups…I’ll just pick it up if I remember to & see it at Sephora 🙂

        • Tammie

No worries, as long as it’s a GOOD mistake haha. For instance you could have written $18 but it was REALLY $45. I don’t mind it the other way around so much, it’s good news XD

    • Lorraine ER

Whew! That’s a relief because I was really intrigued until I saw that price tag!

  • winni

A lip cleanser? Puuleeeze, next they’ll be telling me I need a special nose cleanser too! And food residue? Isn’t that what a NAPKIN is for? LOL 😀

  • kimkats

Even $18 is a deal breaker for me…. I have never needed to cleanse my lips! If I have any lipstick left at the end of the day (which is pretty farkin’ rare) my Clinique Take the Day Off gets rid of it!

Ah, I feel the inner Alton Brown coming out in me “Uni-tasker?! NEVER!” 😀

    personally, I fink it’s a silly product!

    • Tammie

Honestly I am personally interested in it because it’s foaming and exfoliates and boy do my lips need exfoliation x_x. But sugar scrubs can be a bit much for me and I hate wiping em off.

Hey Muse! 🙂 This looks really interesting lol I never really heard of a lip cleanser lol, For $18 I’ll deff add it to my next Sephora order! Btw I finally got their rubberizing masks and OMG! I love it lol they’re so cool 😛

    • the Muse

me either cj lol def first of its kind! ;-D OMG dontcha think it’s the coolest shiz ever?! I freaking love it ;-D! I feel all mad scientist when I use it!

  • SusanT

It sounds interesting, but I don’t see how this can do more than a good lip scrub. I’m addicted to Lush’s Mint Julips lip scrub.

  • Reme

Lol, that youtube clip is sooo funny!!

I’m intrigued by this product I have to say, I look forward to trying it out in person 🙂

  • Ruthless

    A lip cleanser? For real?

I’m already biased against bliss because its products are SO EXPENSIVE and I don’t feel they live up to that. But this just seems so….stupid. Like an advertiser thinking of one more way to sell women something they don’t need. This is in the same realm as an eyeball polisher for me (for extra bright eyes!!! Hint-I made that up)

FYI lip scrubs are essentially sugar… get some coarse sugar and mix it in a lipgloss you get the same effect minus the price tag
