Caudalie Zeste de Vigne Review

Hidee ho!

Just a quick note, I’m very…very…….VERY behind on comments. I apologize!

On that note, let’s take a look at Caudalie Zeste de Vigne my new obsession. I’m a fruity sweet kinda girl, throw in a few foody scents too and I’m as happy as a clam. I like really sweet fragrances and in some aspects my fragrance preferences are somewhat immature.

However, there are times that I like more unique, unusual, and mature fragrances like Annick Goutal Eau d’Hadrien which is where Zeste de Vigne comes into play. This unique blend is one of three fragrances that Mathilde Thomas founder of Caudalie created which recreates the feeling of walking through her familys vineyard at dawn, noon, and dusk.

Zeste de Vigne is inspired by a noontime stroll through the vineyard orangery, with the sun bathing citrus trees that delicately perfume the air with dazzling sparkles of tangy citrus, orange blossom, and lemon according to Mathilde Thomas.

For me, it’s bottled up sunshine with just the right touches of green!

Jump!

If you happen to love Eau d’Hadrien you’ll think Zeste de Vigne (plus cheaper too!) is a masterpiece.

This is a full bodied citrus fragrance with a heavy note of contrasting lemon-y notes that come across both sweet and tart. It effervescent sparkle not only comes from lemon but also notes of sweet orange and mandarin for a cocktail of sun kissed fruits. The green notes come across crystal clear as well so it has that certain just picked fruit scent that combines the sweetness and juiciness of the fruit but also the green of the stems and leaves and even the tree it was picked from.

A touch of a Javanese patchouli and a delicate notes of moss give that green edge without every overpowering or taking away from the tart citrus of the blend.

The end result?

An orchard of various citrus-y fruits, lemons, oranges….on a bed of leafy greens.

Perfection.

This one is very well worth the haul.

I absolutely love it.

Refreshing, just the right amount of tang and sparkling sophistication.

Enchanting!

Well done Caudalie!

Very Muse Approved for purchase but wish it lasted longer on me. The throw is very good but it disappears within three hours at most. My skin seems to suck it up rather quickly.

Smelled it?
