Clean & Clear Fruit Infusions Hydrating Cleanser Review
As you know Clean & Clear has three brand new cleansers out at the moment which they have dubbed Fruit Infusions. I reviewed one already for you which revitalizes dull skin with Pomegranate.
Today, I’ll be reviewing the Clean & Clear Fruit Infusions Hydrating Cleanser with Pineapple that’s meant for drier skin. Perfect for me as my skin is quite dry.
Let’s take a look!
A cleanser for re-hydrating skin infused with pineapple and coconut!
Although these cleansers are meant to appeal to students heading back to school you might wanna grab the Clean & Clear Fruit Infusions Hydrating Cleanser for use right now as the scent kinda reminds me of a pina colada, very Summer-y!
The formula is supposedly infused with pineapple, coconut, and acai plus real strawberry seeds are added in for gentle exfoliation although I did express in my prior review some doubt that they are actually really strawberry seeds, but hey, who knows?
As I mentioned above this has a delightful pineapple and coconut scent that’s quite lovely although like the Pomegranate version the scent does go ever so slightly dish liquid smelling but nothing that’s easy to detect unless you’re super sensitive. The formula is a bit runnier and creamier than the Pom version and has a nice hydrating feel on my face as I wash. I use this in conjunction with my Clarisonic in the morning and it does a nice job of cleaning my face up and easing dullness.
However….
I wouldn’t use it for removing hardcore makeup. I normally save “fun” cleansers like this for morning use when my face is pretty much already clean.
Although it feels hydrating it does leave my face an ickle tight after use so following up with moisturizer after use is essential.
The scent might not be for those that are sensitive to fragrance in their skincare and might even cause a break out or two so be aware prior to use!
- Those looking for a basic cleanser for use in the AM.
- Anyone looking for a budget friendly cleanser for getting skin squeaky clean.
- Anyone looking for something to remove makeup at the end of the day (I’d personally reserve this for AM use but not necessarily a great pick for makeup removal).
- Those sensitive to fragrance in their skincare.
- Those who aren’t keen on parabens in their skincare.
I find it a touch ironic that these are supposed to be infused with fruit and antioxidants but also contain parabens. Although it smells nice and does a basic job of cleaning up my skin I’m not really all that impressed on a whole. If you’re ok with parabens and just looking for a basic cleanser this might be a nice pick but don’t expect too hydrating experience here as it does leave a little tightness behind.
Ok, but nothing super great raving about here.
