Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Purifying Cleanser Review

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Purifying Cleanser is the last of three new cleansers from Clean & Clear that I’ve been reviewing for you.

I purchased these on a whim because they make a rather great budget pick for Back to Schoolers looking for a basic cleanser to use in the AM and I also really enjoyed the Brightening Cleanser I purchased from the brand so it was kinda a lead in for this purchase. Add to the fact that anything with “Fruit Infusions” in the name kinda gets me excited. I really like fruity, sweet skincare products and not enough brands cater to my fetish since it’s not entirely a great pick for those sensitive to fragrance in their skin care.

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Purifying Cleanser promises to cleanse and purify with mandarin orange!

An orange, acai formulated cleanser to cleanse and purify pores and face.

This isn’t the best formula for my particular skin since it caters to purifying pores where as my pores are considerably smaller due to my drier skin but I wanted to review it anyway. I can’t speak for its power to cleanse my pores but I will say it’s a nice, basic cleanser for AM use. I always suggest these Clean & Clear cleansers for morning use because they have a bright, cheery fragrance that will wake you up and also because it does a nice job of getting skin squeaky clean but doesn’t necessarily do a fab a job at removing hardcore makeup, I suggest the big guns for removing makeup.

I did get a little bit of a dish liquid scent from the other two cleansers in this collection but nothing too bad however, sadly, the purifying formula definitely veers off into the land of cleaning my dishes. The scent is a bright orange but it smells a little too close to something I’d clean my dirty dishes with and not as nice as something I’d want on my face.

Supposedly all of the cleansers have “strawberry seeds” in the mix but I really can’t verify as the beads simply feel like the bursting beads that all Clean & Clear products have in ’em ya know?

For use in the morning this does a nice job of getting my face cleaned up but it’s not something I’d reach to remove my makeup in the evening.

I didn’t love the smell as mentioned above.

If you’re a bit sensitive you might want to be aware here as the acidity of the product could cause redness, break outs, etc…I didn’t have issues but I did feel a slight tingle when I used in conjunction with my Clarisonic so practice caution if you’re skin is sensitive.

  • Anyone looking for a basic cleanser for morning use.
  • Those looking for a cleanser to use in the shower that doesn’t cost the entire bank.
  • Those wanting squeaky clean skin in the AM.

  • Those sensitive to fragrances or smell.
  • Those with sensitive skin.
  • Those expecting this to do an amazing job removing their makeup!

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Purifying Cleanser is a nice basic cleanser but it isn’t the best of the three new cleansers in the Fruit Infusions Collection. I felt the smell was a tad off putting…couldn’t help but think of doing the dishes when I got a whiff of the orange scent! I also didn’t particularly like the beads or strawberry seeds in the mix as I find them unnecessary and impractical, they aren’t really doing much in the way of exfoliation so why do we need them? And finally I find that these cleansers are limited to AM shower or AM usage only as it’s not something I’d recommend for harder to remove makeup in the evenings. If you’re looking for a basic cleansers that won’t dry your skin out over much and wakes you up in the morning this might appeal but I suggest checking out the other two in the collection prior to settling on this one as I doubt this will “purify” much of anything….just my two cents.
