geoGirl ES Erase Screen Concealer Review, Swatches, Photo
People, let me tell you, these old eyes need some serious concealing power because I simply don’t get enough sleep and the baggage under here is enough to take on my European Tour.
But…
Occasionally I like going really light on the concealer particularly when I’ve had eight hours of sleep and just don’t want a ton of makeup on my face.
And right now, that lightweight concealer of choice is from geoGirl, a collection of products that are actually made for tweens but I figure my mentality is that of a tween so I’m safe.

A creamy, lightweight concealer.
geoGirl is a new line of cosmetics launching at Walmart (it�s already available at some Walmart locations) for Fall 2011. This collection will actually be replacing the old Mary Kate and Ashley Cosmetic Collection and features natural ingredients and is free from parabens. The line is meant for 8 to 12 year old girls (tweens) but there are a few pieces that might capture the eye of older makeup junkies like me or you…!
I’m picky with concealers but honestly geoGirl ES Erase Screen Concealer isn’t half bad. This little guy is $4.98, mmm an ickle high considering it’s competing with larger brands at Walmart such as Maybelline, L’Oreal, etc…and the tube is tiny..but…if you can get past the price you might enjoy it.
It comes in a tiny tube that features a doe foot applicator. The formula is a creamy, thin consistency that offers sheer to medium coverage. I tried the Light Nature shade which wasn’t quite a fit for me but it did brighten my eyes up, covered some minor darkness, and wore well throughout the day when set with powder. Count me surprised. The formula is very moisturizing and blends easily. It’s not going to erase all your problems particularly finer lines and darkness but it does do a mighty fine job of creating a natural, smooth base under your eyes. This is great for days you’re going lighter on your makeup, or you’re just running out on errands and can’t bare the idea of heading out sans concealer, etc….I wouldn’t go so far as to do a full makeup look with it in place but for lighter coverage? Hells to the yes Siree! Plus if you really don’t need a ton of concealer anyway this is your girl!
Not alot of bad here if you’re using it for the above reasons however if you’re expecting miracles…no dice!
- Younger eyes or those who do not need alot of coverage.
- Those wanting a lightweight concealer for minimal makeup wearing.
- Those who don’t have alot of problems under their eyes.
- Those who like a smooth, hydrating concealer.
- Those who have severe darkness, finer lines, etc…to conceal.
I’m not sure if the base group of 8 to 12 years olds really need concealer yet…that’s a bit young to worry about under eye woe…but perhaps those in the range of 14 and up can take advantage and as for us old farts, we can use it on those lighter makeup days! I actually liked the formula and wish drugstore brands would catch on, this is how to make good, cheap concealer…the thinner, creamier consistency was a pleasure to work with and I’m considering indulging in a different shade when I find these at my local Walmart.
