geoGirl F2F Face 2 Face Moisture Tint SPF 15 Review, Swatches, Photos

As you know from my prior reviews, geoGirl is actually turning out quite alright. The line will be sold at Walmart this Fall and is actually made for a younger market (they are targeting 8 to 12 year olds) but some of you have already tried it out yourself and are enjoying it and I know I’ve tested a few products out and was pretty surprised that a line marketed for little girl’s is actually quite nice.

I was fiddling around with geoGirl F2F Face 2 Face Moisture Tint SPF 15 and I gotta say, again, I like it. It’s on par with any higher end tinted moisturizer you already own plus it doesn’t have parabens. Sadly, I was sent a way deeper shade so I couldn’t get a perfect feel for the product but my testing did lead me to believe this could be a win.

Check it out and if you tried it do add your two cents in!

A fragrance and paraben free tinted moisturizer with SPF 15.

Thiscomes in a tiny tube with a price tag of $4.98 (1 oz). Personally, the price fits in nicely for those on a budget as it’s not too bad a mark up for the quality you get here versus the smaller size.

The formula is thick, creamy, and has a cooling feel when I apply it. It blends out nicely and feels like a truly good tinted moisturizer should feel which would be not greasy, not oily, just soft, hydrating, and leaving behind a dewy finish. Sadly, I got the shade Deep which basically resembles smeared pudding (or poop depending where your mind takes you) in my swatch and it looks just as bad on my skin so I’m highly interested in checking this out in my shade choice when it hits my local store.

I think part of the appeal and surprise of the moisturizer was the comfortable wear. It feels very lightweight and lacks an oily finish which is sometimes a downfall for others products of its kind. The formula is super creamy and absorbs in a snap. I’m not sure what sort of coverage it has because my face looked all kinds of wacky with the deep on…but it seems to be pigmented enough to even out skin tone. Dare I say the formula is even creamier than some of my higher end moisturizers like Laura Mercier’s own?

Nothing bad here but at 1 oz for $5 that’s a little bit pricey…but if the quality backs up the price, which it does in this case, it evens things out dontcha agree?

SPF is a little disappointing at 15 but won’t bother you if that’s the highest you already indulge in already!

  • Those seeking a lightweight moisturizer with a bit of a tint.
  • Those seeking a budget tinted moisturizer.
  • Those wanting a creamy, hydrating tinted moisturizer.

  • Those wanted a tinted moisturizer with a high SPF.

I’ll be reviewing this product again in a future post as I am still trying to find geoGirl at my local Walmart where it will be exclusively sold as this shade is just a little too crazy to decide if I really love this or if I am imagining things. My adventures with deep proved that the formula seems incredibly lovely for something so cheap and marketed for an essentially tween market base…! Some of my reader’s already hauled this and also raved it so maybe I’m not all that crazy after all.

Expect a follow up soon and do add your thoughts if you tried geoGirl’s Tinted Moisturizer or anything else from their line of products.

I look forward to hearing it!

BLASPHEMY! Quick everyone! Get the pitchforks!! (jk)

I still can’t get the idea in my head that kids 8 to 12 wear makeup…
But it seems like a lot of the products from this brand are actually really good, and might even warrant a trip to the evil kingdom, formerly known as Walmart.

I picked up the lipstick in Pomegranite. The color didn’t look too exciting in the tube but I remembered reading here it was their best selling shade. Its just lovely, like the formula also. I can’t imagine anyone this wouldn’t look good on. Except maybe an 8-12 year old, lol.

Imust have bought Face 2 face moisture tint spf15 at Walmart while shopping one day. Ithink it was on sale and didn’t look at very close never tried it until last week when i came home from a week in the sun. My higher price make-up was to light with my new found tan, brought this out and tried it and loved it can’t beleve it’s for the young ones.Ilove it , its so light, i don’t feel the heavness of my other make-up, plus sometimes my make-up will clog my pores from swetting in the sun, this does not do it and evens my face with a glow i hardley need to wear rouge and i’m 65 years old.
