Love More White Crystal & Platinum Whitening Lift Facial Mask Review

Love More is a Taiwanese series of Facial Sheet Masks done up in the style of My Beauty Diary. Lately, there’s been a steady flow of similar facial masks from Taiwan in that “cutesy” my Beauty Diary design to appeal to not only an older market but a younger one as well.

The gimmick or marketing behind Love More is the 3D mask design which features a lifting performance in six directions of your face.

Let’s take a look at the White Crystal & Platinum Whitening Lift Facial Mask.

Can I tell you, I hate turtlenecks. I went to an all girl’s private Catholic School and part of the uniform requirements for Winter was a school sweater, skirt, and under the bulky sweater, a turtle neck. OMG awful! I hate anything wrapped around my neck like that…!

Which is why I’m not particularly keen on full facial sheet masks which wrap around not only your face but your neck as well. Love More is a full facial sheet mask which has an extra layer of fabric that wraps around your neck with two hooks for looping around your ears to hold your mask in place ala a turtle neck! This is actually very comfortable despite how it sounds plus it allows your hands to be free to do other things as you wear the mask. Some masks like this aren’t particularly comfortable to wear but I had no issues with this.

Supposedly the masks contain 30 ML of product…mmm, perhaps…it felt nicely saturated but not 30 ml of essence saturated in my humblest. One of the plus sides of the mask was the fabric it was made up of. It’s a quilted fabric that quite reminds me of a thicker, two ply toilet paper. It’s one of the thickest masks I’ve had the privy of using.

If you’ve never used an Asian Sheet Mask before you simply place it on your face, the mask is saturated with an essence that brightens, whitens, treats acne, contains anti-aging ingredients, etc…depending what formula you are using, and you simply sit around with it in place for a bit. I normally leave them on from 20-60 minutes. After you slip it off, toss it out, and pat the remaining essence into your skin with the palms of your hands. Done!

This particular mask is supposed to give you a facial lift as well as act as an anti-aging treatment. It contains Tourmaline Peptides to give your skin intense moisturize as well as other ingredients to whiten skin.

It has a fresh, floral rose-like scent that could prove a bit irritating for those sensitive to fragrance in their skincare.

Facial Sheet Masks have a knack for giving instant results in many cases or at the very least you’ll see them in the AM after use.

Sadly, I really didn’t see results with this one and it also left my skin feeling sticky and slightly tight after use.

Each box comes with five masks, I purchased them while I was away but I’ve seen them online for around $12.99-$14.99 if you’re interested in checking them out but personally I don’t recommend them. There are way better facial sheet masks to check out in my opinion so I’m not really recommending these ones for a purchase.
