Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush

Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush is a new foundation brush that can be used with creams or powders.

Take a look!

Shiseido combines traditional Japanese brush-making techniques to create the perfect foundation finish.

Gently tapered strands create an angled slant that best allows bristles to reach all facial contours while a short handle allows for precise control during application.

The brush is $30 and available at counters now.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I saw this last weekend at Nordstrom and had to buy it! Never quite saw a shape and size like that, it looks like you can get very good control on applying highlighter over the cheek areas too. Well…after trying it with liquid foundation, powder highlighter and cream cheek blush… I am not impressed. One similar brush I have is MAC 130 Short duo fibre brush, in shape but not the hair. The MAC one performs much better. I am disappointed and returned it. The description says you can use this with powder or liquid but I don’t see a better finish than even using my own fingers. It does not pick up product well and it does not blend well, so I don’t know what I will do with it. It’s a great size and shape I hope for but does not perform too well in my opinion.

I am in Japan now and have just bought four more! 10 euros each one. I started using it last month and I love it, especially with cream foundations. It works perfectly with my new Bobby Brown. I can reach problematic areas because it is small, I can give more cover on my chin but sheer it where I don’t need it… It is definitely my brush
