Stila Love and Empower Set Swatches

The new Stila Love and Empower Set is a palette inspired by the book, The Help, which is about a twenty-something year old named Skeeter who is a southern girl who returns home after graduating from college in 1962 and proceeds to turn her small town upside down by interviewing the African American women who have spent their lives taking care of rich southern families. What insures is a story about the empowerment of women, both from lower and upper classes.

To celebrate both the book and the film Stila has created the Love and Empower Set which I briefly discussed last week.

Here are a few swatches of the new palette and I’ll follow up with a review later this week!

The color looks rather nice swatched together which makes me eager to get them on my eye to see how well they work blend out.

What do you think of the Love and Empower Set?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The swatches look pretty! And of course, the packaging matters. LOL.This explains why I forked out too much money for a Tom Ford lipstick. For the darned luxe packaging, the ‘Mercedes Benz door shutting’ sound when I put the lipstick lid on, and oh yeah, the Tom Ford name. I am a sucker.
