Vera Wang Love Struck Eau de Parfum Spray

With all the excitement that surrounds Fall 2011 Color Collections we sometimes forget about the equally exciting fragrance releases.

One such fragrance comes to mind that I’m very eager to try, Vera Wang Love Struck Eau de Parfum Spray.

Lovestruck is a new fragrance from Vera Wang. It’s a Vera’s interpretation of love, playing off of a modern twist on Romeo and Juliet and the emotion and rush you feel when you are falling in love-that heart pounding, spontaneous feeling.

This sparkling floral contains top notes of pink guava and mandarin with middle notes of tuberose and lotus blossom with base notes of sheer musk and precious woods.

The bottle really caught my attention with its bouquet of ribboned roses but I do find I have to sniff Vera’s fragrance prior to heading into a purchase as her fragrance tend to be a little too rich for my taste.

Thoughts?

Do share them!

Available now at fine retailers.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Love the bottle! But I’ll have to give this a sniff first- I’m not usually a fan of tuberose.

Ooh! Gorgeous looking! I like the Vera Wang signature fragrance… very grown up and sophisticated. I always get compliments when I wear it to work. I’m a little excited for this one! And I never get excited for fragrances!

the bottle top is beautiful, but the words “Lovestruck” printed on the bottle looks like — well, I don’t know what it looks like, but I don’t like it.

The bottle is beautiful! I love the bouquet of flowers on top. I think I was practically sold when I read “pink guava.” I have a weak spot for it in anything.

I don’t really like the word “Lovestruck” on the bottle like Christine pointed out. With the bouquet of flowers being so fancy I think just using a simple font for lovestruck would have worked.
